We stayed at Storm Mountain Lodge at the end of December, 2014 for one night. It was -28C the night we were there.
The cabins were perfect. They were very "rustic" and are heated by a propane heater and a fireplace. Since it was so...More
As we live in Calgary ... we have taken visitors here ... to stay with dinner. We've also taken friends up just for dinner. It never disappoints. Even foodies will rave about the meal for days. The log cabins are rustic, romantic and feel historic....More

No. The lodge is located in somewhat isolated location (on a highway but away from any urban center). While there are various public transportation possibilities from Calgary to Banff, Lake Louise, etc. there would be nothing available to this facility. A rental vehicle would be the recommended means of travel. (The added bonus of a rental would be the opportunity to tour and view more of this exceptionally attractive area!). Note that if travel is planned for winter months highly recommend the rental of a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Cheers!
