We have visited Storm Mountain twice before and absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to be able to visit again and it was just as we remembered. Yes, the cabins are rustic but that is one of the things we enjoy. Not a cookie cutter hotel room, but a cozy, warm and very comfortable cabin of your own with... More

What a find! Beautiful, warm, rustic lodge with 16 cabins...and, remarkable food. The lodge has been around since the 1920s. Cabins are simple and a bit small but have a nice queen bed, a leather sofa and a big woodburning fireplace. Bathrooms have claw foot tubs. The food is incredible. Breakfast runs the gamut...from granola to Smoked Salmon Benedict and... More

We stayed here this month. The food was superb maybe even a bit over the top or pretentious but good! The wines and beers are all top notch and expensive. The cabins, well, they have been around a long time and show it. We had a gas log stove that kept the place toasty on the crisp fall nights but... More

These cabins have been modernized with new mortar, original logs and floors. Great escape to Storm Mountain area, just off Hwy1 on 93. The dinners are fantastic, and the main reason we stayed here, so we didn't have to travel after eating. Awesome fireplace with unlimited firewood. Great view from the Lodge dining, or sitting outside. This is close to... More

Lovely setting. Don't be mislead by the photos. The cabin we were in was extremely small. No heat in the bathroom, and no hot water on the last day. Bed is up against the wall so the person on the inside must climb over the other person to get out of bed. Heat is available from a wood-burning stove or an... More

Hello there, We are sorry you found our property too rustic, being built in the 1920's we feel like it would be a little out of place if the cabins did not have some rustic qualities. That being said, we feel the cleanliness of the cabins along with the well appointed upgrades we have made including: antique soaker tubs, comfortable... More

We stayed here for 1 night during our honeymoon. The cabin was so cozy. We loved the wood burning fire place. It was so nice having the restaurant on site. We had reservation for 7 pm and walked over in less than 3 minutes. The food was incredible. They have a nice selection from the bar as well. We hope... More

We stayed here to get away from the Banff cookie cutter hotels and not pay for the Banff Springs Fairmont. Email communication/reservations were swiftly and appropriately handled by Cael. The lodge is very close to the highway so try for a cabin a little set back from the road. The area is well forested so feels secluded and is. There... More

We had an amazing time staying at Storm Mountain lodge. We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to Banff over this summer and loved every minute of it. Walking into Storm Mountain Lodge immediately makes you feel as if you had entered a cozy, warm cabin with a ton of character. The log cabins are beautiful and extremely... More

My wife and I selected Storm Mountain Lodge & Cabins for a four-night stay during which we would be occupied mostly with recording photographs in the parks (Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho) and could hardly have been more pleased. The staff was kind and helpful, the lodge was a delight (at all hours, but for example sipping Kicking Horse coffee in... More

We stop here often on our drive from Calgary to Invermere and are never tired of its charm. We've had lunch, dinner and some of the new take away foods. On our last visit we had the take away kale Caesar salad and it was delicious!! My kids and I fought over every last bite. The restaurant is small so... More
