The beds were super comfortable both stays (a couple nights apart). The room was clean. The front desk guy was great- Jason. He had lots of advice for places to eat and go around town. We didn't have a chance to check out the hottub, unfortunately. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so we ate next door at El Toro.... More

The place was old and mediocre. A few parking places at the back of the building. Underground parking also available. Good location. I found hair on the bed and around the sink when I was not even looking for it. It worth less than 100$ for anywhere else. But at banff, it cost us 170$.

We stayed here 5 nights while visiting Banff National Park. Overall the place was nice. There was an elevator to take your luggage up, a definite plus! Room was nice and beds were comfortable. Could use a little updating but while we were there we heard they were planning some work on the bathrooms. Next door to the Inn is... More

The Red Carpet Inn is located in downtown Banff within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. The room was clean but the mattress felt like a piece of jello. As soon as my partner or I would move in any way, the other would feel it. We let the front desk know and were told that they were in... More

Booked here some weeks ago as all other hotels in the area appeared to be fully booked. On arrival in Banff and walking around the area we found that there were vacancies advertised in most of the other hotels! Irritating to say the least and this is probably the result of booking agencies making block reservations across the board. This... More

It was our first visit to Canada and Banff so the hotel was just a guess pick, unfortunately we picked wrong, the staff where very nice and very helps full but that’s really the only good thing I can say about... You get what you pay for with this hotel. It's at the budget end of things for Banff. The building is dated and our room was basic. But it was comfortable and it is an easy walk to the centre of town. The staff varied from helpful to indifferent. We ate breakfast at the restaurant next door. The food was... More

Very pleased with the accommodation here, it's a budget hotel so what you pay for is what you get. We stayed for 4 nights and it was excellent location, we had a balcony and great views of the mountains from our room. Room was very spacious and clean and not all that old. Had free parking too. Would stay here... More

We just returned from a two night stay at the Red Carpet in Banff. The room was a good size, nothing special, a microwave would have been nice. We had dirty towels from the previous occupants behind the door and no luggage rack for our luggage to sit on, so it sat in the closet on the floor. We were... More

Name is misleading, as are many of the online claims. there is only dingy blue carpets with 1970s panel board, and dirty wallpaper. Frankly I was shocked to see how rough this place looked on the inside. Needs a a major renovation. I have never stayed in a crack house or dingy waterfront dive from a 1940s film noir, but... More
