This hotel offered a number of things which worked for our group of 15 starting their trip through the Rockies: (1) comfortable lodge-style accommodation (2) central location within Banff, meaning no need to use the car in town (3) helpful staff - we must have pestered them with questions, but had no complaints (4) good amenities - whirlpool and sauna,... We booked this off Trip Advisor and it was a decent place to stay. Room 320 (top floor) was nice, but with no a/c, we had to leave the windows open and the street noise was loud. Beds and bathroom were nice and clean and the continental type breakfast was fine in large dining area. Overall a nice place to... More

Firstly staff very friendly and helpful. Manager let me email her a voucher I needed printing for a trip later in the holiday with no issues at all. We had one of the loft rooms which has the bed on a raised part of the room meaning stairs to get your cases up unless you want to be running up... More

This hotel is nice and comfortable but the amenities are limited. Be prepared to go through a maze of corridors to find the Breakfast Nook. There is no air conditioning working at the moment. I found fairly overpriced for what was offered

This is our second night here at Brewster's and we are more than pleased with the accommodations. Room as large and very clean. Close to everything. The only negative is that our window opens to the alleyway so there is a bit of noise, but not enough to be bothered by. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel may look like a nice lodge on the pictures on the internet, but it really isn't. It looks more like an outdated hotel that desperately wants to look like a lodge, but isn't successful doing so. Rooms are clean, so that's a plus. But that's about all we found positive to this hotel. There is no airco, so... More

Was the cheapest hotel we could find at short notice within the town of Banff. Was still quite pricey but that seems to be the usual if you want to stay in Banff at peak season. Having said that it actually turned out to be lovely so we didn't mind paying the extra price for a hotel compared to camping.... More

No large tour groups in evidence, seems to suit families and independent travellers of all countries. Large room and HUGE bathroom - could have 3 in there at once if that was your bent (showering/ spa, toileting, cleaning teeth/applying make up). Breakfast nook is not big, but it coped with all-comers with little waiting. Included continental breakfast is extremely basic,... More

The pictures of the lodge make it feel like a beautiful log cabin in the mountains. It's really just a dressed up motel in the middle of Banff, no views and underground parking. Everything is pretty basic and functional. Make sure you have an inside room as the outside rooms back onto the alleyway where you will hear air conditioners,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our Rockies Road trip. It was a great base for Banff as its right in the centre. Yes there was a little bit of street noise but really nothing at all disturbing and worth it for being so central. The breakfast included was ideal with a selection of juice, cereal and... More
