The B&B is located about 2 blocks from downtown, a perfect location. Our room was large, bed very comfortable, fireplace to take the chill off when you return from a walk. The hosts are former restaurant owners and it shows in their service and quality of food! Snacks at the entry, coffee machine and kettle in room, fridge - everything you could ask for. Even bottles of wine sold at cost. Albert is a true chef who produced different and delicious 3 course breakfasts every morning. Creme brulee stuffed french toast one day, salmon egg benedict on a potato pancake the next day, a lovely omlet smelling of freshly browned butter on another day. Not only was it all delicious, the presentation was amazing! If you can't eat it all, they provide baggies so you can squirrel some away for a mid day snack. It was the highlight of the day. Esther anticipates your every need. One day I asked for coffee to be heated. The next two days, it came extra hot. My husband likes hot chocolate so she went out and bought a special quality hot chocolate. On our last day, things were in hand so the hosts spent some time conversing with the guests at breakfast. Both were delightful, worldly and interesting. The only downside was between 11 and 2, there were noisy people on the street (coming home from bars, etc). However I don't know how you can avoid this in a city location. This is a one of a kind B&B. Not just a place to stay, but a true experience that shouldn't be missed. A bit more expensive than some places but worth every cent.

Words cannot express our sincerest gratitude to Albert and Esther. Not only did they open their beautiful home to us, but they prepared a 5 Star breakfast every single day. Being there for 8 days we cycled through the entire menu and everything was exceptional. We have been to many bed and breakfasts, but this one is far superior. You will never leave there hungry that’s for sure. Every morning there is a Buffett set out of wonderful cheeses, fruits, cereals, breads, croissants, homemade jams, charcuterie board, and I’m likely leaving a handful of things out. Then each day there is a special hot home cooked item (waffles, stuffed French toast, French omelette, Frittata etc) just to name a few. Everything was wonderful and it’s all displayed so beautifully. We did everything they recommended, which is a huge perk of staying with locals at a B&B. The hikes they recommended allowed us to see the awesome winter wonderland of the Rocky Mountains. The dining options they suggested were top notch and we had an entire week of unique local cuisine, which I’m sure anyone knows it’s hard to find good food while traveling. The rooms are very comfortable, large and quiet. The upstairs was added to include a B&B so the rooms are extremely quiet, which is sometimes rare for a B&B because most are just old homes with paper thin walls that have been converted. Not here. You may hear your neighbors walking down the hall, but that’s about it. I’m pretty sure every room has a wonderful Mountain View of Cascade or Rundle Mountain and each room has a nice balcony to enjoy some fresh mountain air. We enjoyed snacks downstairs in the dining area 24/7, a coffee machine and drinks upstairs in the hall, and a pitcher of filtered water in your room fridge. There is not one detail left out, they have thought of everything. No one will ever leave this place disappointed. Albert and Esther make a point each day to talk to you and they will make your time in Banff outstanding. Do not hesitate to book, just do it. We cannot wait to come back someday.

The title says it al! The breakfast was unbelievable! Albert is an amazing chef. He dazzled us with a breakfast that will never be forgotten or reproduced. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Our room was just the right size; with coffee, tea and water readily available. The en suite bathroom was sparkling clean, with all the amenities one could wish for. If you are planning to visit Beautiful Banff this is the place to stay! Thank you Esther and Albert for your hospitality.

Words cannot really do it justice how good our time was here. Do yourself a tremendous favour and stay here. The rooms are wonderfully cozy and comfortable. The jet tub was awesome and fit two people. Albert and Esther are hospitable, friendly, and wonderful. And the breakfasts, oh the breakfasts. Every day a different main course in their 3-course breakfast. And when we wanted to go snowshoeing, they had some for us to borrow. Along with backpacks, walking poles, bear spray, and even bikes. They are amazingly hospitable, making sure to help and show us a good time. Chatting with them every day after breakfast was a highlight for sure. The location is wonderful. Had good scenery around it. It is only a 4-minute walk to Mainstreet. We will never forget our time here, my wife and I. 5 stars just aren't good enough. Trip Advisor just won't let me rate it higher. Pros Breakfast!!! Cozy room Albert and Esther (Your Hosts) Location Borrowable gear (Saves you money on rentals) The food. (So good it made it twice) Cons Your time here must end Showerhead might be low for tall people
