My cousin had a knee surgery in Banff, and needed a place to long stay until 1st Doctor's follow up date. Blue mountain lodge was a very good location in Banff, the friendly staff gave me useful information what i needed as a care giver, gave us a room on 1st floor so we can access kitchen, and dining room,... We are still overwhelmed with the attention to detail and care that we received from the lovely ladies at Blue Mountain Lodge. Four of us recently returned from a stay in the Blue Mountain Lodge where we had two rooms. My friends stayed in the cowboy bunkhouse which was unique to say the least. It was such a cosy room... We were visiting Banff in the summer. The location of the Blue Mountain Lodge is excellent, just a few steps away from the main road with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful with our plans. As we couldn't do all the things we planned due to smoke and a very limited view, they were... More

I had read mixed reviews online. When I arrived my room (room 1) was exceptionally clean, neat, and cosy, so I was very happy. I arrived after hours and the arrangements to collect my key went smoothly. Breakfast was sufficient and a staff member greeted me at the beginning of the day, giving me detailed guidance on trails and sightseeing... More

Quaint little cottage just off the main street if banff full of rustic charm. The staff there know their stuff and obviously love living there. Small guests rooms but enough if your not spending time in doors. Creaky floors and homey feel. Recommend to any looking for a nice place to rest your head. :)

We were sort of late in planning our Canadian Rockies vacation as per the norm, and started looking at accommodation options in April for our August travel. We ended up choosing Blue Mountain despite mixed reviews on TA because of it being one of the few decent places available within our budget (in fact it was the most expensive place... More

We stayed here 3 nights, early October . Pros - location is very good. All that downtown Banff has to offer is within walking distance. The breakfast while very basic is sufficient to get you started. Having said that some cheese, ham, better coffee , proper granola to go with the supplied yogurt would all add significant enhancement. They do... More

Breakfast was great and the staff was very cheerful. Rooms are relatively small but perfect to keep you out of the hotel & enjoying the scenery. Also located just behind the main street to help you avoid traffic during peak season.

The blue tin roofed house really catches your eye. The staff are super friendly and actually know the area very well. We were given some very good advice. They bake cookies every afternoon which were delicious! The room we stayed in was nice with a mounty theme but too much furniture for the space. We had to do a little... More

We booked this as we were very limited on availablity for our dates. First the positives! Great staff especially the girl from Czech Republic. Two others we met were very friendly a girl from France and one from Austrailia. Great location. Now negatives, rooms very small and stairs are narrow. Ensuite was some something to be seen anyone over 5"... More
