The hotel was very clean, well kept and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the evergreen restaurant was excellent fresh and very well cooked. They even went into the underground parking and cleaned my windshield, very nice place we will be back.

Recently I was in Banff because a family member had day surgery.I chose this hotel because they have heated underground parking, temp. +19C, while outdoor temp. was -27C. This alleviated any worry about whether my car would start when I was picking up the person who had surgery--a huge consideration.Additionally, I booked the hotel for two nights, but since the surgery went well, a second night's stay was not required. RCL did not charge me for the second night, for which I was tremendously appreciative, and this gesture shows that customer service/empathy are not just words displayed on their website. I will definitely stay here again!

Our 2nd stay at the Royal Canadian in the last couple of years. The hotel is excellent both staff and accommodation, clean, and very comfortable. It's awesome that it's only a short walk into the heart of Banff Avenue and shop. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel has a good ambience but the check in was made extremely difficult by the fact that they do not accept regular European bank cards payment option, only credit cards. The staff was however pretty helpful in solving the situation but after a long trip this is what you last want to be dealing with.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The amenities were very good. The only downside was that it was a very far walk to the main area of Banff Avenue. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
