Though there has been lots of negative reviews I will start with positives Concierge very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool cool for me but hot tub and steam room good. Negatives. Need upgrading. Noise from air conditioning kept me awake and had to try to buy some sleeping tablets. Housekeeping not provided everyday. This was classed as a 4 star at present I would say it was 3 star

Have stayed here many times always a favourite. This time we had to book last minute and got a standard room. It was great! The rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. We love staying here and the retaurant is top notch for breakfast!

We stayed here at short notice after our trip to Jasper had to be cancelled due to the wildfires. It was a last minute booking and I have to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised! We had a suite and it was spacious and had a large bathroom area; and even some seating. It was clean and the beds were super comfy. The staff were all very friendly and polite: especially the lady on reception (I think her name was Vanessa, she helped us find a good takeout place!). Plus the hotel is very close to downtown so only a short walk from the restaurants and shops. The hotel could do with some modernization (it just feel a little old fashioned) but that being said it sort of adds to the charm and gives it a real lodge like feeling. I would be happy to stay here again but would probably opt for a bigger room again as it was worth the extra.

Nice but expensive. Good location in Downtown Banff. Nice beds. Great service. Parking downstairs in underground garage. No free breakfast. Food was pricey as well. They do wash your windshield when you park..

Upon arrival, i was greeted with excellent service by the staff member on, my room was not ready (i was early - my fault, not theirs) I had a tour too go on and they stowed my luggage. The staff who were available were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and food was extremely disappointing. I would've walked into town for dinner but after a long tour and sore feet, i thought i'd just stay and eat at the hotel. It was quiet for a reason. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It's a little over priced for what it is. In saying that, it wasn't horrible. The hotel is dark and a little under staffed. Lift super slow. Location is a nice easy walk into town.

There’s two sides to this hotel. The good and the poor . Let me be positive about the good . The hotel is clean , bathroom facilities although dated are functional. Towels very clean. Beds comfortable. Now the poor . I think the hotel is very understaffed with inexperienced personnel working there. On arrival we were advised that our rooms wouldn’t be serviced whilst we stayed , very worrying but not a major problem. We did not eat there , restaurant in my opinion did not look up to what I would have expected. The bar didn’t open on Mondays! All in all disappointing. It’s dark interior needs some updating heavy , requires heavy investment

The rooms are very dark and dingy. The plug in one of the sinks did not work. On our first night our tour group had an included buffet dinner. It was awful. The starter was tomatoes of various colours. The three choices for hot food were all cold and very uninspired. Dessert was cake which was dry. We had breakfast in the hotel for two mornings. This was chaos. The space provided for the buffet was far too small. Not enough food was provided and the choice was very limited. Also note that the hotel is quite a way out of town so it is a long walk to shops and restaurants. We went to the swimming pool which is very cold and very small - you would not be able to swim. It also has a hot tub which is far too hot. Very disappointing stay at this hotel.

This is a tidy hotel with pleasant staff. However you get the impression it’s understaffed. The breakfast was buffet only. It tended to be luke warm and ran out. The restaurant was closed and there was limited options. Housekeeping was not provided during the stay. The air conditioning was old school and noisy. We were quite affected by this … our sinuses weren’t happy with it!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was quite small and dark but it appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a fridge and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was adequate and done the trick. The staff were friendly and Neil at the front desk was very helpful. It’s a fair walk from the town, but a pleasant one at that. The breakfast was disappointing, most of the foods had ran out for the buffet. My wife ordered a something from the set menu and that was much better than the buffet. I would not recommend the buffet for the cost of it.

We did have a reasonably good time in this hotel which is in walking distance from the town centre. It offers well appointed and reasonably equipped rooms which are are quiet and clean. The problem we had was with the staff who obviously lacked experience (probably due to the recent pandemic) who offered little or no information when approached though they were very friendly. The Concierge was never seen again after having promised to fore=ward some local information to us and the staff in the Restaurant unfortunately had some trouble to explain parts of the menu. To our surprise they even suggested that we have to pay corkage in order to take our half drunken bottle of wine that we purchased with the dinner and decided to finish in our room. The bar here is rather small, but t=well stocked and the bar steward was a delight when compared to his colleagues. Still, we did not dislike the hotel and there is no reason for not recommending it to other visitors to this wonderful town
