This lodge cannot be in a better location! Pity that's where it almost ends. It stands right at the base of most lifts and ski runs, it's well built and meant to provide a comfy accommodation to suit a wider array of budgets. Employees are mostly young people from all over the world employed through work&travel programs - and the... More

Lovely property! Great room, great hot tub. Ski in, Ski out is fantastic, love the locker room for our ski gear. Food - fair. Food itself was 7/10. Staff was 4/10. I think it's the last week or two before the staff goes back to college...it showed. Food was kinda expensive for what it was. Breakfast buffet was a bit... More

We are season pass holders at Sunshine but had never stayed up on the hill. All in all it was a great experience although we missed the evening toboggan runs by one day. The loft suite provided exceptional views. While the lodge is generally very clean, a few minor points could be addressed; such as cleaning the dust bunnies off... More

Thanks so much for spending your vacation with us at the ski-in, ski-out Sunshine Mountain Lodge, Jim. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the mountain views from your west wing loft suite, but I am disappointed to hear about the few items that need improving. I will be following up with my housekeeping staff to ensure guests in the... More

I've had the pleasure of staying on hill at Sunshine Village many times over the past 15 years and I am always pleased with the experience. It's a second home to us and we feel so welcomed there by the staff and management. BTW - the complimentary wine and cheese is always a hit :)

overall great trip, service in the hotel very good, nice room, could use a mini fridge, just the service in the restaurant was spotty, some servers very good, sometimes lack of attention. free water and extra coffee at turn-down service was very nice touch. excellent service at the front desk. able to check into room at 10am.

Although the room was small, its was comfortable and included everything we needed. The hotel and staff were ALL awesome. Its so nice to wake up, put on my ski boots, go down to Chimney Corners for a delicious breakfast and hit the slopes!

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. We had a standish suite with lots of space and beautiful views. You can't beat waking up right on the slopes, something that can only happen if you stay at Sunshine mountain lodge. Staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. Bags are left at the bottom of the gondola and... More

You pay 5 star prices for the good ski in ski out location, a well appointed but worn room, and laughable service. The rooms are decorated well. We had a suite which meant there was a small sitting area with a sofa/ fold out cot, a fireplace (which puts out a lot of heat), and a balcony. The suites appear... More

I read so many poor reviews about the resort that I was worried staying here, however, wanting the ski in/ski out experience there was no other choice. I'm so Glad we stayed here, staff were great, room size was good for what you pay, food and service could not be floored! Despite common reviews about slow service, we didn't have... More

We had a great time. We do have one issue that we had 2 years ago. It appears the hotel staff and the dining staff have a hard headed war going on. If someone has room service the hotel staff refuse to pick it up and it will sit out for days. We have stayed here 6 or 7 times.... More
