We stayed 3 nights. The pool and Hot tub were in excellent working condition. Everything was incredibly clean: our room, hallways, pool, linens!!Free garaged parking was a great addition. I strongly recommend High Country. Oh,it was also quiet and the front desk staff amazing😁

We chose this Inn for a weeks stay in Banff with a large group. We stayed in two of the family rooms and were very happy with our stay. While the outside initially looked a bit dated, the rooms appeared to be remodeled. The room was clean, the beds, linens, and towels all felt like they were new. The staff were very accommodating and nice whenever we needed any assistance. The pool and hot tub came in handy several nights, especially after several days hiking for miles. There was plenty of room to park, since we drove up from the states. The free freshly brewed coffee in the lobby was very handy especially when we left for tours early in the morning. The room does have a small kitchen area with coffee and tea with a coffee maker and microwave. The hotel is on the main street and only a couple of blocks from the main part of town where many restaurants and shops are. The price was great and beat all the others in this area of town. If you are considering staying at this hotel, take it from someone who is quite picky when traveling, this is a great place to stay. I would definitely come back.

There is no doubt that the location is fantastic - right next to the Banff town centre. The parking is convenient and rooms are large. The employees are friendly but offer no major service. They expect you to pick your bags and place it in the storage room. The room rates are extremely high but so are the rates of all hotels on Banff Avenue. For this price I would expect more. The rooms are large and comfortable, vIews are fantastic and the lobby is very welcoming. The AC is loud and there seems to be no way to control the fan speed or the temperature and it’s crazy hot if you switch it off. Something needs to be done. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Just hope some oct he’ll the suggestions are taken and worked upon.

We stayed for three nights in June. The location is perfect, at the end of the Main Street, walking distance to everything in town, including the start line of the Banff Marathon, if that’s why you’re in town! Easy to catch public transport nearby. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Small fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. I enjoyed a coffee on the little balcony every morning. The pool and hot tubs were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Banff is an extremely expensive place to stay. This hotel is reasonably priced for the area, about as good a value as you’ll find during high season!

Unfortunately room 146 was not the quality I would expect to see considering the price we paid. I understand Banff is expensive due to popularity, but at least upgrade the facilities to match the tariffs you are charging. The heating/cooling unit was loud and we turned the fridge off for the same reason. The pool and hot tub were nice, but could be open a little longer considering both nights we (and a lot of the other guests) don't go down until 9.30pm at the earliest due to full days exploring (it closes at 10pm). In saying that, location is good and will likely stay again due to limited affordable options.
