I thought the "Plus" was supposed to be good, but it was a definite step down from regular Best Western hotels we've seen in recent years. Not sure why the good reviews, maybe they stayed after someone like us had cleaned the room. Even then, it wouldn't be good. I'll give the facts & you decide what's important to you:...

The hotel is older than most BW's - but very well kept and and comfortable. The basement free parking is nice & secure. There is always free coffee & tea available. This location is very nice; about 6 blocks from the restaurants and shops of downtown. A bus stop is in front of the hotel next door if you want...

Great location to walk to town, but we left a little disappointed after staying here. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast room was pretty chaotic and unless you got in early, selection was limited as we arrive one morning with 30 minutes left and staff were not replenishing cereal, yogurts or breads. Underground parking was also full to capacity....

3 adults travelling together found this hotel perfect. Our room was a 3 bed suite (one bed in a separate room) and very comfortable beds and clean room. Well equipped too So we slightly changed our itinerary to stay another night. Sadly we couldn't keep our original room and spent the second night in a regular room, but still enjoyable....

Banff was hard to book. We had one night here in a king then out to back country Lodge then back here for 2 nights in a queen double. Queen double was better and cheaper. Breakfast was popular and plenty of it. Happy with the service, cleanliness of this place.

Hotel is in need of updating, our room was small for 3 people, but clean and comfortable. Driveway in front of lobby is too small if more than one person checking in, which makes access to the underground parking difficult. Lady at front desk very friendly, and was also on duty for breakfast. Breakfast room small, people bunched up, food...

The Best Western is just a short walk to downtown. The beds are super comfortable & the staff strive to make you feel it's your home away from home. The delicious hot breakfast is such a great way to start the day too.

I booked this through a loyalty program to save money and I didn't expect much. While it is dated everything else was great. The room we were assigned was spacious. Everything was clean. Housekeeping was very efficient. The breakfast that was included was much better than expected. To top it off we had a balcony with a private hot tub!

I thought the location was wonderful. We could walk around the town no problem. We did go out to look for wildlife in our car and only saw 2 coyotes on our way back into town. Lol. I didn't think the pool was much but the breakfast was yummy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good rooms at reasonable prices with free garage parking and breakfast. What's not to like? Very comfortable beds, elevator (1) and easy walking distance to the center of town and numerous restaurants. Hotel sits back a half block off the main road so even a front room is quiet. Breakfast is OK...not bad but not great. Only downside is tour...
