There are many basements in Banff that have been remodeled to provide basic overnight stays. As mentioned, there is ample parking, and the house is close to town on the way to the Banff Gondola & Hot Springs. Noise from above is minimal, and the wifi was fast (once we were logged on). The room is large with a couple... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. The place is easy to find and there is parking available on site. The house is located close enough to the town centre that you will have no problem walking there. The decently-sized, clean and quiet rooms are in the basement but have windows big enough to let in... More

We stayed for two nights and had absolutely zero problems. The place is easy to find and there is parking available on site. Anthony was very accommodating of our arrival, even when it was a bit later in the evening. As others have noted, breakfast is provided in your room with items in the fridge and eating utensils on the... More

This is a different b&b experience. Anthony and his wife have arranged for guests to have their breakfast in their own rooms at their leisure. This worked out well for us since some days we needed to hit the road early! The rooms are exactly as advertised. They are spacious and have all the facilities that one could ask for... More

Exactly as advertised. Our basement room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast simple and adequate. The location was good to walk to town. Bed comfortable, but rather firm mattress. Pillows just right for me...not too flat, not too high. Three relatively large basement windows allowed light in so the room does not appear dark or stuffy. This is a good choice... More

We stayed here in June 2013 during the flooding which spread through the area. It was our last destination in Canada and our flight would leave from Calgary, but the exit from Banff to Calgary was closed. Anthony was very attentive to our needs and explained how we could leave the town. It was very helpful and we're very thankful... More

The Alpine B&B is an excellent base for visiting Banff. It's not large and breakfast is not fancy, but it is clean and close to everything. We walked from here to the Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, the Cave & Basin, and downtown. Americans should note that this facility does not have washclothes as we know them - we were... More

I give them a 5 for being exactly as advertised. This is a no frills room with clean bed, bathroom, microwave and fridge with some instant breakfast items. Perfect for someone that doesn't want much for breakfast and place to put their head at night and be out all day. The house is not marked - turn at the "Hidden... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on our drive through the Rocky Mountains. There were two couples, so we each had our own fully self-contained room with ensuite. The rooms were large, airy, comfortable and clean - as mentioned by previous posters, they are in the basement, but they all have windows so they were not dark at all. Breakfast... More

We stayed with Anthony in August 2013 for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Convenient for the town, clean and quiet, comfortable bed with lovely quality sheets, and a great continental breakfast with healthy options to eat. Everything we could want was available in the room and we would stay there again and recommend it to friends. Thank you... More
