Close to Banff (you could walk if needed) and you can have some nice hikes. Also the campground is spacious and well organized. Only the rest rooms could do with some improvement and I would score them as sufficient.

The parks in Banff are under the control of the National Park. Go to the Banff National Park website and you can find the campsites there with a link to reservations.

At Tunnel Mountain trailer court if you are looking for good shade I would suggest the A or B sites. The ones numbered in the 1-2 rows are close to the road and we found there was a considerable amount of road noise. The... More
