We love the Fall colors here! This campground is within 10 minutes of the Banff Village, grocery shopping, souvenir shopping, fast food (walk ins) and a gas station (not big enough for big rigs tho). Be careful when you set GPS in Google Maps for this campground. If it includes streets such as Otter and Moose it is taking you... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, sites are full service, there is one wash house for every 3 rows of trailers with only one shower in each. Somewhat frustrating as the way the sites for smaller units are set up, it's not always possible to park so the service hookups are on the right side of the trailer. Also there is... More

We had heard horror stories about how busy Banff was in August. To be fair the town itself is busy, particularly in the afternoon, so go downtown in the mornings. However, it's a very nice little town and probably the most cosmopolitan place we encountered since leaving Vancouver! Although the campground was almost certainly very close to being fully booked,... More

The parking are for two motor-homes, what makes it not so comfortable and hurts your privacy feeling. No Wifi. The showers are not in great condition. The area is beautiful and you can walk around to see the mountains. The location is great.

Whilst travelling away from Lake Louise we literally stumbled across this place, set just outside of Banff in glorious surroundings with beautiful views. There are three parks depending on whether you are camping , in an RV or stopping in a chalet. The RV park where we stopped had full hook ups (that's water, electricity and waste). It's all reasonably... More

We camped here in a 5th wheel with full hookups. You have to book the day reservations open - try to get a single site not a double and you'll be pleased. The views are awesome. There is lots to do in the area - hiking, biking or resting. The Banff town shuttle stops at the campground. The national park... More

Warm welcome and helpful staff, located just off the trans Canada highway it's very easy to find. The site is clean and litter free, the shower blocks are also very clean, electric, wast disposal and water points on each pitch. There is a bus service every 40 mins down into Banff and it's only $2.5 each way. We will stay... More

The location and setup of the campground is superb. There is more than enough room between the sites and the views on the mountains are marvelous. Washrooms are clean if you go early and there could be more showers to accomodate all visitors. Unfortunately there have not been any fire rings, it would have been nice to do a campfire... More

All of the sites here are pull-thru off the side of the road. Unfortunately your site faces the people in the row above you, so not much in the way of privacy. There aren't many options in the park so this is as good as it gets.

Awesome view anyway you look. view 10/10. The campground is a big disappointment. The second worst one since leaving Ottawa. The spots are along a road, and look like they were for one family and have been poorly converted to two. Depending on which side you are on you may be forced to look at the road. Also cannot hook...
