This was our first RV site. It had easy drive in parking with our large RV. Friendly & helpful lady on the entrance. Taxi fares varied from $6-10 to head into Banff or there were buses for $2 each. Quiet site except for the train tooting at 0545. There are no food facilities or shop, but it is a pretty... More

I had pre-booked on line and check-in at the campground was efficient and involved simply confirming my name. The provincial parks could take a lesson from their federal government counterparts, and stop requiring re-registration for campers who have already registered online. Our site was a pull-through EWS (30A) and all sites appeared level (I did not see any levelling blocks... More

The tunnel mountain trailer court has incredible views of the mountains and the camp ground is very clean All the sites are pull through sites for trailers which is definitely very convenient. The sites include full hookups as well as a picnic table The staff were very friendly and helpful while we stayed there. The shower and bathrooms were very... More

Nice pull though spot with hookups. Mountain views. Kind of difficult to get to as we had to drive through town to get there....but well worth it. Found it interesting that the town of Baniff is in the National Park. Great campgound

As with all Parks Canada campgrounds, cheap, clean, had wildlife. Awesome, true experiencr camping. Do not expect luxury there, bring your oen expensive RV for that. Has bathrooms, hot showers, no fire place is the only cons but bbq is permitted.

Wow! What a beautiful setting. The views are amazing. It is a great place to walk...both in the campground and on the hiking/bike paths just across the road from the campground. We enjoyed the pull through sites..easy in and easy out. The only reason this campground does not receive a 5 rating is only one shower per washroom, and no... More

We loved camping here. The sites are spacious and private. There is full service and also washroom and shower facilities throughout the park. The views are magnificent. Many hiking trails nearby and easy access to downtown Banff. Highly recommend.

You really cannot beat this CG. It has full hook ups, large pull thrus and has easy access to Banff, Lake Louise and the surrounding areas. Our site was level and although it was nearby to the showers it was not noisy at all. The views out of our windows were spectacular! Lots of elk roaming around.

My girlfriend and I stayed a total of 5 nights at Tunnel Mountain and we loved it despite minor shortcomings, more specifically the absence of WiFi and a laundry. One might argue against the need for WiFi during a holiday that is supposed to get you away from everything, but being able to check the weather forecast is just one... More

I would have said this was a good campground but the noise of the train blowing it's horn several times at night while we were sleeping is why we give it an average rating. The layout is a bit unusual but it was clean and had lovely views. If you are a light sleeper you should bring ear plugs.
