The service desk was average. Not too friendly but not rude. It was a long wait before we could get our room even though we got there on time. The view from the room was great, and the service help for navigation was excellent. One of the worst parts about this hotel was that there was no fridge in our... More

Great location. We walked all over town. Rooms are very small and bathroom even smaller. Was lovely to look out the window and see the busy main street filled with flower boxes in front of every shop. The deer came walking in the street at 5am. It was a bit noisy for the night life is opposite the hotel, but... More

The hotel is located downtown Banff in an older building Our room was newly renovated , very clean and comfortable. By North American standards a bit on the small size but more than adequate Parking was provided in an enclosed parking arcade about a block and a half away and with snow overnight it was good to have the car... Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Liked our hotel, rooms were satisfactory was in centre of everything, was walking distance to all that we wanted to visit and do. Felt safe with the key feautre of the elevator use. Just had a rowdy drunk neighbor for a night but otherwise hotel was quiet.

OK. I admit it. I only stayed at this old hotel because it was last minute and I couldn't get in anywhere else for a reasonable price. What a surprise! We got a nice comfortable room in the best location in town! Free parking in a garage around the corner. There are only 22 rooms, and only 10 have a... More

Stayed one night at this hotel right on the main street in Banff. The hotel is dated but was clean and quiet...I had a room off the main street. Check in was quick and friendly. The elevator required you to use your key to get to your floor so I felt comfortable with the safety. The room was smallish but... More

We rolled into Banff around 9PM during summer season without a reservation. After a couple of unsuccessful stops along the Motel strip, we were to advised to drive downtown and stay here. The rate was low for the location (between 200 and 300), cheaper than the place across the street although a simpler property for sure. The room had a... More

So my husband had booked us a room for the night to celebrate my bday. We drove into Banff with some friends and family members to have dinner. After dinner we went to check in and they had given away our room. Actually the manager told my husband "they overbooked 20 rooms". He then proceeded to tell him try Lake... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in a King suite, I was told they only have two of these, so maybe we got the worst one, room 206 - I think - not sure? Positives: the King bed was fantastically comfortable and the location was really great it is right in the centre of Banff Main Street, the bathroom shower... More

Excellent position in Banff, very central. Clean, good room, comfortable beds. Loads of places to eat nearby. Next to bus stop. Opposite Tony Roma which serves excellent breakfast. What's not to like?! Highly recommended.
