We spent a few nights in September 2015 here to discover the southern part of Sicily. We arrived quite late because of the Ferry from Genoa but as we arrived, we got something to eat! The room was big with a nice view! We would always recomment this place. WiFi is free but only accessable at the reception.

A great place for nature lovers and foodies - wonderful views, extremely tasty local food (memories of the plum tart will stay with me) and a fantastic level of service and hospitality from Marta and staff. I got to see the medieval chapel in the house, dating back to 1400s; go to the hills and see the view from above... More

We were on a Wine and Food Tour of Sicily with Esplora and stayed one night at the Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa. On our arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were located up stairs without bannisters and no lift was available, although staff carried our cases up to the rooms. Our room was reasonably well appointed... More

This was a beautiful setting on family farm outside of Palermo. Staff was great and helpful. Our travel companions were delayed arriving from Rome and needed pickup from airport very late in evening. Marta arranged driver from airport and provided food at their arrival at midnight! Great people relaxed atmosphere, close to Palermo for visiting. Highly recommend!

Masseria La Chiusa is an organic farm and winery converted for tourism. The setting is beautiful, the house lovely and the food and wine simply excellent. The wines produced on the farm are extremely good (wine tasting seemed possible) and the meals are simple Sicilian classics produced to high standard. You can order dishes especially, including seafood, but otherwise most... More

We were met with a warm welcome and a fantastic hospitality by the family and all staff of Masseria La Chiusa. Great, clean spacious and charming appartment. The all home produced typical Sicilian food and wine was a great pleasure and experience. Good base for exploring Palermo and the NW part of Sicily. Would love to come back to Masseria... More

Chiusa is a beautifully set and quite magnificent antiquity near Palermo, yet in a mountain valley that could be Swiss. It is ten minutes from town into the country. The facility is a modern redevelopment of a 500 year old winery. Food is fair, breakfasts lacking. We found a restaurant in Jato which we liked very much for dinner/lunch. This... More
