The Banff town site is only about 10min up the road and in my opinion Two Jack is a far superior campground to the tunnel mountain campgrounds closer to town. Two Jack is right in the woods and access to Two Jack lake is just 2min away. The lake was surprisingly awesome. The only downside to this campground is there... More

Two Jack Lakeside was filled up, so we stayed here. Glad that we did! We had neighbors but not nearly as many as Lakeside would have had. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every second of it. Close to Banff town center, and close to Lake Minnewanka. Very nice staff, and clean bathrooms. Every morning the bathrooms were cleaned. We... More

My husband and I stayed here as a change to a more rustic campground we usually go to. We made the mistake of not telling the staff that we had a large tent. It was a challenge to fit our tent on the site we were assigned. It is true that there isn't much privacy at this campground. It was... More

The lakeside campground was full but we were very happy to find a good pitch on the main campground. Lots of privacy in the dense forests, the washrooms are ok, there's a washing up area too but no showers. It's pretty much ideal for a short break hiking in the area. The kids loved the campfires too.

Lovely campground. No showers but there are many many washrooms with flushable toilets. There are just as many camp kitchens & sinks for washing your dishes with super hot water on demand. The lodge pole pine offer little privacy from your neighbour's but overall this is a great place to tent.

For what it is, it's great. Walk-in, no Showers, but they have flush toilets and a sheltered area with tables if the weather is not nice. Close to Two Jack Lake. Not to be confused with Two Jack Lakeside campground which is now by reservation only. We've stayed at both and prefer lakeside by a long run, but this is... More

This was an excellent sport to stay. the campground was clean, the washrooms were well cared for and cleaned. A draw back is there are no showers on this campground. We stayed over the long weekend in August the campground was full.

We came here on a Friday morning during the August long weekend with our fingers crossed. We had a feeling the Two Jack Lakeside campground would be impossible to get in and tried our luck at Two Jack Main and we were the 3rd last group of people who were able to secure a campsite. No reservations allowed at either.... More

Nice place to camp. Well-treed lots, free firewood. Bathrooms are covered in dead bugs, though, and there are no showers onsite at all. Quick trip to Banff, Cascade Pond, or Lake Minnewanka. Saw a herd of elk grazing on the way in.
