We booked for two nights purely to be closeby to a campsite that our relations were staying at. We did not expect to be so warmly welcomed and we were made to feel at home and special. The rooms was clean, well decorated and the super Kingsize bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very informal at Pedallers Cafe and anything... More

We particularly chose this property for its dog friendliness. It was the first time we had taken our dog Stan away and what an excellent choice it was. Great location for walks, fabulous accommodation ( our room was a bit on the small side but next time will request a bigger one), friendly hosts who own dogs and so know... More

My wife and I came for two nights and could have happily stayed longer. David and Emma were great hosts and the room was a good size with a fantastically comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. It also benefits from being close to a cycle path, is just a short walk up the hill to the quite magnificent Pointer Inn, and... More

Stayed here recently and couldn't fault anything. The proprietors, Emma and David were the perfect hosts. Set in lovely gardens, the rooms are all that you would require for the perfect stay situated very near to Newchurch village and a very good pub. The rooms are very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms... More

Visited Rosemary Cottage with our dog Shep. Lovely clean bedrooms/lounge and ideal for walking dog on disused railway line running next to house. Friendly welcome from David and Emma and tasty breakfast served in Pedlers Cafe. Thoroughly recommend.

Although single I had a lovly double room with ensuite bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean with beautiful soft fluffy towels. All toiletries provided and of high standard. I was a lady in distress as my car had brken down and the garage was unsure when it would be ready. David and Emma the proprietors could not have been kinder or... More

We booked 3 rooms for our cycling weekend and wasn't disappointed. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from Dave. The rooms are a decent size, clean and comfortable. . Breakfast was excellent and served in the Peddlers cafe. In addition to the bedrooms there is a comfortable lounge area. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lounge but unfortunately the... More

Albeit, short notice (2 days before hand) we were delighted to be able to book a room for one night - we were attending a funeral. Only to be gravely (excuse the pun) disappointed to receive a telephone call while we were on the ferry to the island stating that they had overbooked us and we now had to find... More

Another excellent weekend at this great value B&B. Superb breakfasts and the beds are still outrageously comfortable. Thrilled to see this hard-working couple now have their Pedallers Cafe open on the No 23 cycle route. Was especially thrilled to see it at the end of an unexpectedly-long cycle ride! Serves an excellent selection of sandwiches and hot and cold food... More
