It was lovely, clean and comfortable. Decorated beautifully and shiny with care. The staff were lovely; very professional and had a sense of quality service delivery. I asked for a quiet room as I'm a light sleeper and was starting a new job the next day, so the manager moved me which was very kind, especially as she shifted around... More

The lovely little village of Repton in Derbyshire has a charm & many hidden jewels of restaurants, The Boot was our latest little gem. A planned birthday Saturday lunch with friends & certainly not disappointed. A very warm welcome, a friendly ambience in the pub/restaurant/hotel. This is such a lovely place to stay, we have been for a meal before, but never stayed in hotel rooms. The room was furnished with quality furniture and looked newly decorated with luxurious curtains and a huge comfortable bed. It is one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. The staff were really friendly and attentive even... More

Such a shame as the rooms and food at this place are lovely but it was so noisy. I could hear full conversations from the bar whilst in our room. The noise from the kitchen was really loud. It was really warm in the room so we wanted to open the window but couldn't because there were people directly below... More

Having spent 4 hours driving, we arrived late due to traffic at 9:40pm and missed the food which we were really disappointed with as we were recommended to stay here by colleagues. They did offer us a sandwich or cheese board but we wanted something hot. They booked a table for us at the local Indian (which was very nice)... More

Visited the Boot recently. Under new owners for about a year it has become a great place for pub food. It was busy on the evening we visited but waiting staff were attentive and on a couple of occasions when we had queries about the menu popped into the kitchen to check with the chef. An error with the drinks... More

Family week end spent in fantastic surroundings at this lovely Inn. Repton is a beautiful village with our room having a view over Repton school and the cricket pitches. Accommodation was lovely, very tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. We will be back without any doubt, this is a little gem.

Stayed a night while joining friends in nearby Willington, where no accommodation was available. Repton is an attractive village somewhat dominated by the school. There is a narrow footpath from here to Willington, about a mile away over the River Trent. Willington is on the railway and canal. We arrived early and got parked up, there are more parking spaces... More
