Thank you Jane and Tom for A lovely stay. By far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The continental breakfast is great and the bonus is a pub in walking distance serving good food at a very reasonable price. Can't wait to visit again.

Thanks Elaine, it was lovely to meet you, hope hubby's walking a bit easier now. Come and see us in the summer if you can - there's a four nights for the price of three offer on!

This was the first time we have stayed in a B and B. It was absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean and very friendly. Good advice about local eating places and Jane and Tom happily shared in a long standing family joke - thank you. No hesitation about staying there again

Outstanding B & B. Perfect hosts and accommodation for our 1 night stay - could not have asked for more. Highly recommended and will visit again when walking in the peaks.

We have stayed at Nesfield twice now. It is just perfect. The rooms are light and airy, beautifully furnished and peaceful. Everything is spotlessly clean - I have never seen bathrooms that sparkle like the bathrooms at Nesfield. The breakfasts are wonderful - cooked to perfection and finished off with cinnamon toast. And as for Jane and Tom, they could...

Not in our view. We have now been to Nesfield something like 15 times in the last 4 years. Jane and Tom are just like family and Tom's breakfasts, superb. If you are at all keen on bird life I think Tom said about 80 species have been seen from the cottage. Due to change of circumstances we will not...

Thanks you two, we'll miss not seeing you for a while but hope that your mum settles into her new place and is happy cos then you'll be happy too! We couldn't wish for better guests and hope to see you sometime later in the year for a re-union! Best regards, Jane and Tom

This was the second time we had stayed at Nesfield Cottage, which says a lot as we have never had a repeat visit anywhere. As expected the room was spotless and the three course breakfast set us up for the day ahead. Nothing is too much trouble for Tom & Jane and they are always helpful in recommending places to...

A superb place to stay. We stayed in the Lapwing room and it was everything you would wish for. The whole place gives a feeling of class and we will certainly return. Breakfast was a pleasure, not only for the food, but also the relaxing view of the garden and the endless visits of wildlife - including a greater spotted...

Our stay did not dissapoint, our room (Lapwing) was very comfortable, warm and well appointed. The welcome and local advice from our hosts Jane and Tom, was second to none. The spacious en suite room, is also well appointed with a large Power shower. The position of the B&B is exceptional, being out of the village of Barlow, but being...

Our choice of place to stay was largely driven by the reviews etc that we'd read before booking and nothing disappointed, quite the opposite. Jane and Tom were the ideal hosts - taking care of all that we needed but without the fuss or intrusion that can be irritating. Comfort, excellent food, and a delightful ambience made for a first...

Nesfield Cottages exceeded our expectations (which were already high). Our room (Lapwing) was fantastic with a comfortable bed, good quality linen and plenty of space to chill out. Bathroom was also very roomy with a great power shower and everything was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was top quality with a good choice, including home made breads. The location was peaceful but...
