This was a girls weekend away . Girls, may be a slight exaggeration, but middle aged friends weekend away sounds a bit dull and our stay with Moureen and Vince was anything but that! It's the perfect location for walking in Derbyshire . With plenty of walks direct from the door . You're set up for a great stay from... More

Myself, my husband Paul and his mum arrived to a lovely, warm welcome from our hosts Vince and Moureen. We had seen previous reviews about Vince's humour and he didn't let us down. "Welcome Paul and are these your daughters?" Aside from that, there is so much more to them both. Warm, friendly, humble, welcoming, caring ... I could go... More

You have to cut Vince and Maureen a bit of slack. The place they run is lovely, clean tidy well appointed and they give a good breakfast. But both are getting on, and its a bit like a visit to grandparents. We had a lovely stay and I would go back again

This is a good base from which to explore Derbyshire and Chatsworth House. Wonderful room, lovely views and very comfortable beds. The en-suite shower room is a great added touch and very welcome in a B&B. Good breakfasts with home-made jam marmalade and lemon curd, delicious, as well as the usual cold and hot fare. Mr and Mrs Fearn were... More

Over the bank holiday my partner and I stayed in the 'Dove' room at Fold Farm complete with super king sized bed, a lovely ensuite and views of Spring lambs immediately out of our window. Maureen's breakfast was beautiful each morning consisting of fresh fruit, home made jams, local produce and a killer fry up! The village of Beeley was... More

Perfectly placed for hikes in Chatsworth Park and the Peak District to walk off Maureen's excellent and substantial breakfast. Based on our research and local knowledge we think its the best value luxury B&B around Chatsworth. Vince and Maureen were the perfect hosts and made our nostalgic trip to the old county just perfect. Thanks, Martin & Val, Western Australia.
