What a wonderful place, beautiful setting and building with marvelous grounds for the kids to run around in. Owners very hospitable and friendly. Beautiful village and beach with fabulous café on the seafront. Lovely walks and places to eat in local pubs around the area. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended.

We have visited the hayloft with two different dogs and they have both enjoyed the countryside. The adults get R and R and of course always enjoy it. We have been about 7 times I think and never get bored staying at Norburton hall. We enjoy all the lovely walk and visits to the pubs for dinner. The Hayloft is...

We were looking for a relaxing self catering place to stay and couldn't have found better. Our accomodation in The Shippen - a self contained luxury suite with outdoor space set in glorious gardens. Everything is provided and it is like home from home hosted by Karen who makes you most welcome. The location is ideal for touring that part...

Just spent another fantastic five days at Norburton Hall......which hit the spot as always. Love the place, love the location. Stayed at The Shippen this time, which was light and spacious, and perfect for a family. Recommended.

Three generations of our family just spent another holiday at Norburton Hall. We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage this time, which is very spacious and has a lovely high-ceiling lounge and large farmhouse-style kitchen. Karen was very helpful once again, sorting out minor issues and offering ideas for places to visit. Thanks to Karen, we had a lovely trip to...

It's an easy 5 minute walk into the centre of the village which has a couple of really good restaurants. Another 10 minutes or so and you are on Hive Beach, which has the wonderful Hive Beach Cafe where we went for breakfast...

We have just come back from a lovely 4-night stay at The Shippen. The cottage was perfect for the four of us (plus dog!) and an ideal place from which to walk to the beach and local pubs, as well as being just a short drive from West Bay, Bridport, Seatown and a host of other level places. Unfortunately the...

We are frequent visitors to Norburton Hall and usually stay in the Shippen which is a lovely two bedroom cottage with roses and a fig tree in the patio area. Its a great base for the beach and Powerstock Common where we saw frog orchids this time. A real home from home.

Thank you for the great review. Lovely to hear that you're very much at home here at Norburton Hall. The figs in the patio area are just starting to ripen up now - they like that sunny spot. Really pleased that you saw some Frog Orchids during your last stay. I've been lucky enough to see Bee Orchids nearby, too,...
