We stayed here for two nights and everything was just very good! Room was lovely with sea view, the owners Linda and Cyril could not have been more helpful. Dogs are allowed which is always a plus for me. Breakfast was taken elsewhere, there were two choices in the area which were both fine. One was walking distance, the other... More

I found this place on the internet and the reality was even better. We had Hive room and it was superbly appointed- higher than some 4* hotels I've stayed in. Not only a fridge with fresh milk but real coffee and a cafetiere! In fact I was envious of some of the fittings and the bathroom was lovely. The layout... More

Comfortable B and B in a great location on the cliff top near Burton Bradstock. We were booked into Cogden, a clean bright room with a view of the sea across the garden. Lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below - so restful. Breakfast served in our room on Sunday morning was... More

I booked the Cogden room, and everything was great. The ocean view is very nice, and it was fun watching the chickens, magpies, and rabbits cavort about in the yard. We are hikers, and access to the coastal path is very handy. There is plenty of parking behind the building. Breakfast is served in the room at a table in... More

We stayed here the night of our wedding and the following night. Words cannot express what an amazing stay we had. Thank you so much for the little extras which made the start of our married life so memorable. The views are amazing, the room is beautiful and breakfast in our room was the cherry on the cake. We will... More

Chisel Beach Lodge is a really comfortable well run B&B with great access to Chisel Beach with miles of beautiful walks. The owners were most accommodating, friendly & made us feel very welcome. The room we had (Cogden) was fantastic, it has unparalleled views of the raging Jurassic coast sea from the comfort of an airy room that is well... More

A truly last minute decision to spend a few days exploring the Jurassic Coast and discovered this absolutely stunning place to stay. Regretfully, we were only there for one night and the sun was setting as we arrived so we saw only a little of the dramatic location. Warm reception, you are given keys to your room and the lodge... just had a night at this lovely B and B , which was definitely not enough.....the hosts cannot do enough for you and are charming and thoughtful. The setting is second to none and the accommodation is very tasteful and immaculately clean. 10 out of ten. A memorable break in Dorset.

My wife booked our trip to Chesil Beach and I was skeptical about our destination. As a tourist from New York I didn't know what to expect on the coast in the Dorset region. Well I was so pleasantly surprised to find that it was not only a beautiful part of the country, but the beaches are actually incredible, the... More

2 nights in the Cogden B&B room, didn't want to leave! Perfect place to stay to relax and enjoy the area. The room had everything needed to make the stay the best including plenty of tea and fresh milk. Lovely people, perfect location. Will definitely be back.
