Very nice trip with my local guide (tin). I met local families during my trek (2 days arround ha giang city) I was amazed by the beauty and tranquility of the place. The staff is friendly and very attentive 👌.
My boyfriend and I arrived in Hà Giang without a plan- we found Jungleman by chance and were able to arrange motorbike rental effortlessly. Our friend negotiated 160K a day per semi-automatic motorbike via phone and we were on our way. We paid for four days upfront and when we arrived back in only three and a half, we were given a half day's rental back. When we asked about getting to Hanoi, we were immediately offered sleeper bus tickets leaving that night which was ideal. Fully recommend, one of the guys English is excellent and their family very kindly offered us some of their dinner while we waited for the bus.
Luan and Khom have been two magnificent guides for our 3 day tour in Dong Van Geo Park. The bikes are semi-automatic, new and easy to drive. With our guides experience, the tour was perfect: very nice hostels, good food and especially beautiful places. Ha Giang's loop stays in your heart, but with a local guide is better and Jungleman is simply the best!!!
We stay in the homestay it was clean and great !More then that the guy was helpful and nice. He picked us up from the bus and took us to the homestay .All long the lup we meet the owner in different places and he helped us and gave us information
The place is clean and the location is few meters away from the bus station. The people are very accommodating, kind and funny as well. It's like a one stop place coz from there, they will help you with everything - from booking a transpo for the next trip to tailored tours. They also offer meals. Highly recommende!
I visited Hagiang last week and stayed in Jungleman. It's a beautiful stilts. Lived in here so quiet and comfortable. i love the morning i waked up, open the windows and see the rain, the fog that so cool. Friendly host made me felt like home. He also a good guide for traveler who know all things like: rent motorbike, places have nice food and wonderful scenery. I love Hagiang so much. Thanks Jungleman, look forward to see you soon.
The best homestay on the region ! Jungleman is a guy very friendly. He will can to help you for everything, to give you advices for a trip on the region of Ha Giang. In my opinion, Ha Giang is the prettiest part of Vietnam. Go there without ask you questions.
This homestay is right outside of town, and is a great place to stay. You get a curtained off area in the upstairs of the house to sleep, and the meals are very good. Also, "Jungleman" is definitely the best tour guide in Ha Giang, if you want to take a tour up to Dong Van or around the local area. He speaks amazing English, is really friendly, and loves photography. Most importantly, he knows the area really well, can help you see things you might have passed by if you'd been on your own, and can introduce you to the local people. I stayed for a few months in Ha Giang, and "Jungleman" is definitely the best in the business.
Prior to reaching Ha Giang, I asked travel agents in Hanoi about how to get here. Not nearly as popular as neighboring Sapa, everyone kept saying “why would you want to go there? Even locals find it difficult to get there.” So naturally, I was worried about the bus route, language issues, finding a tour guide and even if I’d get WiFi. Also, at the time I booked this homestay, it had only been in operation for a couple months and there was just 1 review to go off. None of these things were an issue at the end. I felt the bus ride to Ha Giang was very safe. I arrived at the station in Ha Giang around 5pm. It was a short, quiet walk to the homestay, with the sun setting on a scenic view of mountains and farmland. I immediately felt like I was going to get the raw adventure experience I came here for. The owner of this homestay greeted me at the gate outside. He spoke very good English and introduced himself as "Jungleman." The main floor is just a living room with wooden chairs and a TV. It’s when you go upstairs to the sleeping area, that you feel like you’re in a Buddhist temple. You sleep on a futon, which is curtained off from other guests. The homestay and its setting are very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A great place to recharge the batteries after the 8-hr bus ride from Hanoi. Jungleman showed me a 3-day motorbike tour going up to Dong Van/Meo Vac. Despite arriving late in the day, he scheduled the tour for me and another guest starting 7am the next day. I was glad I did it. I saw some of the most jaw dropping scenery in my life and motorbike is the best way to see it. This was definitely the highlight of my 1 month in Vietnam.…
