The young guy at the reception didn’t really care about new guest. Was quite cold and unfriendly. I’m the second night it was super loud, noisy and smelly at my floor. I asked 3 times other guest and the stuff to be a bit more quiet, but nobody cared. When I went down at the night to complain about the noises, the boy behind the desk and other men just start laughing at me.... Made me feel really uncomfortable as a woman, standing there in front of them. not a behaviour that you would expect in a hotel. I also had many long black hair at my bedsheets, I think they didn’t changed.
Stayed here on 2 occasions recently and it was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were fantastic, breakfast was cheap and delicious and the location was fantastic. Could not fault the place one bit. Thanks for a great stay guys, we will be back.
Ha Giang is a good place for travelling the wonderful loop around. Stayed for 4 nights here. We were able to check in early which was great after a long sleep bus journey. Also on check out we could keep the room until night bus. We were given a nice room at the back overlooking a nice little sitting area. Room good, hot shower and comfortable bed. The lady who owns this is so nice and helpful. Advising of routes to travel and places to eat. Good breakfast and good prices. Motorbike rental and they were some of the better ones we have had in Vietnam. Bicycle retaliation also. Would definitely stay here again.
Needed to stay in Ha Giang on our way north and found this gem in a quiet part of town. Arrived at 4pm feeling really hungry after a 5 hour bus trip and although they normally provide only breakfast they offered to cook us lunch. The whole family are so obliging, provide information on where to purchase food etc and will make onward transport bookings for you. A great place to stay without hurting your pocket.
We stayed here on 2 occasions while stopping in Ha Giang. The hotel is decently nice with reasonably sized rooms, big comfortable beds, nice staff, etc. The staff are nice. There is one female staff member who speaks English well and the rest use google translate to communicate. They go out of their way to help you. We asked for a heater to warm our room because our daughters were a bit sick and they got us a space heater in a matter of minutes. Breakfast isn’t included but they serve breakfast there. It’s not great but gets something in your stomach to start the day I guess. The wifi works well for those needing a good connection. The hotel rents motorcycles for a reasonable daily rate, I recommend it.
Good and clean rooms for a fair price. Good breakfast as well. You have a nice terrace to have breakfast on or a few beers in the evening. Good laundry service, excellent motorbikes for rent and a sweet lady at the front desk.
The accommodation is ok, price quality hard to beat. You can also rent a scooter in the same place for a good price. . In front of the accommodation an establishment where you can taste Vietnamese cuisine. They helped us with everything. You can also manage the trip to Hanoi. As a possible upgrade: the mattress I was on was a bit hard
We stayed only one night in this nice property where owners [especially Giang] were really kind and hospitable. Our room was big and clean with A/C and a fan. This place is a bit far away from the centre, located in a calm neighbourhood of Ha Giang. There is a delicious restaurant just in front with local prices and the hotel provides additional breakfasts. We rented our motorbike here for only 160,000 VND a day which is a very good price [including helmets and rain coats]. Motorbike was really well-maintained and worked perfectly. Last but not least: they provided a contract for the rent - a bit unusual in Vietnam to be mentioned ! We highly recommend ! They also provided our bus ticket to get back to Hanoi at no additional fees + pickup at the hotel [bus station is really far from city center]. The only slight issue was the noise in the main corridor / lobby until 2 am and early in the morning: better take a room in the upper floors if you want to spend a good night.…
spent two nights here in june 2017 and had a great stay. for the price, it's hard to beat. they offered really excellent service, very clean rooms, and they get all the basics just right. the one thing i'll warn about though is that the mattresses are like rocks...i love me a nice firm mattress but wow, the ones here are something else! overall, a great short stay and i appreciated all the assistance booking a car, getting the bus, etc. this is a great budget option if you're visiting ha giang (and you should!)
