The hotel is located in a period house. The interior and exterior have a wonderful patina of time. We loved the stair case, the high ceilings. The hotel also has restaurant facilities and we were very happy with the quality of the dishes presented. The hotel is a typical family-run country-side French establishment. The location is probably the weakest point.... More

The hotel itself is a lovingly restored 18th century manor house in a quaint little market town. The rooms have period furniture. The price is very moderate. The restaurant is spectacular. Beautiful room with historic wall painting. The menu is short which is always a good sign because food is fresh that way. The menu contains largely local specialities. The... More

Traditional style real French hostelry. Great value for money. Rooms simple but clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurant with great local wine. Good for dogs which are allowed also in the restaurant.

We found this in the Logis guide. A large, old building In the centre of the town and a short distance from the motorway. We received a friendly welcome, the whole place was very clean and tidy, and the room had a nice big comfortable bed. Huge old shuttered window let in a very pleasant breeze (no aircon but not... Great food, we had lobster souffle, bresse chicken with morels, good selection of cheeses and nice desserts. Hotel dates back to 1750, mainly original features with new plumbing and note work underway. Friendly couple run it. Convenient stop just off motorway.

We stayed here on a very hot evening. The room we had was okay, but we would have loved some air conditioning. The lady running the hotel spoke pretty good English and was very helpful. Then came dinner. The chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce served with a small risotto was not just good, it was great. They use... More

Nice little hotel, in a nicely restored historical building. Welcoming atmosphere and friendly owners, good restaurant. Rooms are not huge, but clean and have everything one needs. Overall, very good value in its category.
