I contacted Patti about staying a fishing a couple days in August 22 and she was very responsive and very nice. They were closed for the off-season but her fishing options were available. We were set up with other options for staying. We stayed on the beach were the Patti sent Lavo right to the dock to pick us up. Lavo was a very good fisherman. I could tell it is what he does and had been dong for along time. My son and I had just been to Mexico in June and we didn't do as well as we wanted in Cab San Lucas so we thought we would expand out a bit. We wanted Dorado and Marlin. Lavo was headed out for some wahoo when he got word that the Tuna were in close so we hauled ass to the Tuna, apparently everyone else heard the news as the area was crowded. ( The wahoo zone was full of Kayaks as well, 43 of them). We chased the tuna around all morning and caught 5, it was fun. The 2nd day we went back for Wahoo and there were no kayaks only a couple of boats and we caught 4 wahoo and a Dorado. We then trolled for Marlin and Dorado. It appears the the Marlin are the least favorite of these hardcore Mexican fisherman, they seem less enthused to fish for them wehn something else is biting.

Just spent six days at this hotel and my son has stayed here previously. Very clean and comfortable with a home-like atmosphere. It's like staying at a bed and breakfast, but far superior. Patti is an outstanding host who makes sure you have everything you need and more. Great bartenders and staff. Plus we were able to fish and fill up our ice chests with the catch. Captain Lavo made the fishing memorable. We cannot wait to return next year (or sooner).

We've stayed here several times over the last couple of years and we can't wait to return. I've stayed at the fanciest hotels all over the world and for me, none of them have the soul, charm and overall good vibes as Los Pescadores. For us, this is a perfect hotel with all the amenities we need and none that we don't. Our only regret is that we don't bring our dog - she would fit right in! Thanks Patti, Valeria, Adela, Daniel, Fidel and everyone else at the hotel. You are terrific!

This Hotel is so clean and very comfortable, I will always check here first before anywhere else. Patti was terrific and so great to talk with, she always seemed to make sure I had everything I needed for each days adventure. It was great to meet the locals who frequent the bar in the afternoon. Wyatt, Dewey, Janny and others were so helpful and fun. I gotta tell you, they might have the best shrimp taco’s I have had yet. Breakfast to order and dinners were excellent. I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed staying at this wonderful Hotel. The bar tenders Fidel and Daniel were on it and made great drinks, and sang a lot as well. Just a great stay.

My wife and I spent a week here. Overall it is nice, quiet and clean. Restaurant is good, but more expensive than other restaurants in the area. We had a car which made other restaurants an option without transportation you are limited as nothing else is within walking distance. Roads in area are very rough and dusty. Location is isolated, but that is part of its appeal, just be aware ahead of time.

Hotel Los Pescadores is an intimate boutique hotel situated on the North end of Los Barilles within walking distance from the beach. We loved everything about our stay here, so much so, that we extended our trip and will visit again. The hotel grounds are peaceful, sheltered, safe and beautiful. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. It included a large walk in shower with bench, a large closet, ceiling fans, AC, refrigerator, coffee pot, free WiFi and a comfortable bed. Every morning there are complimentary breakfast items and coffee available in the main lobby/bar area. The bar area is a central point of the hotel. It’s tenders, Daniel and Fidel, are so much fun. The bar atmosphere is like the tv show, Cheers. Patti, the owner, and all of her staff work together well, creating a wonderful place to stay. Patti goes out of her way to help you with whatever your needs may be. This is a special place worth visiting.

This little hotel in the town of Los Barriles is a gem & a true home from home. It’s not on the beach, has a small swimming pool & lacks the fancy amenities of larger, flashier hotels, but it makes up for it in so many ways. Patti & her staff go out of their way daily to make your stay here a happy & comfortable one. You leave thinking you’ve made friends. The spacious rooms are set around the pool & patio area in a beautiful, well kept garden setting. The beds are comfy, the shower is spacious & there are tea & coffee making facilities in all the rooms, some have a small kitchenette also. If you don’t want to bother making your morning drink, there is coffee & a simple continental breakfast available in the bar, just a few paces away. The rooms are serviced daily & are super clean. The bar is run by Fidel & Danny who are friendly & always have a smile & the time to chat & make you feel welcome. Locals also use the bar area sometimes making it busy, but we were never bothered by the noise in our room. There is great food available most evenings & occasional specials. The Asian food night on Thursdays should not be missed. If you don’t want to sit at the bar, there are cosy sofas & a fire place for the cooler evenings, or you can sit around the pool. I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely hotel. It’s simply one of the nicest hotels l have stayed in…it’s very reasonably priced & the service is second to none. Thank you Patti & all the staff of Los Pescadores for a fabulous stay & making us feel so welcome.

We loved our 4-night stay. I can't say enough good things about the staff and service at HLP. Patti was very accommodating when our first flight was canceled and our trip dates changed. She arranged an airport shuttle, ATV rental, COVID tests at the hotel. She also recommended places to go and things to do. Our room was spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, a heater/AC, and ample private balcony. Totally dark and quiet at night, with no streetlights or through traffic. The lobby restaurant/bar is a neighborhood destination, as it is the only place north of Los Barriles. It gets lively but winds down pretty early and did not bother us in our room. The prices were very reasonable and the bartenders were genuinely fun and friendly. As other reviews mentioned, smoking is allowed and there are dogs onsite (very well-behaved), but it is open-air and we felt this all added to the casual, at-home feel. We were glad to have this option available for food and drinks and spent some time there each night.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to L.B., and stayed at Hotel Los Pescadores. What a treasure! Lovely grounds, great open-air bar, super clean, quiet, friendly - and unlike most hotels in Mexico, wonderfully comfortable beds/bedding! Don't miss dining in on the nights when Patty features international cuisine. We love this place!
