This place is so real. I loved it. Everything’s simple. Everyone’s friendly and helpful. You can stay on the property and enjoy as if you have a home there and Patti did all the building. You can walk to town via dirt/paved road or beach. You can hook up ATV or fishing trip from here. There are 4 very friendly 4 legged property managers onsite. Therapy friends indeed. What you see is what you get. Invite friends old and new for happy hour here.
Do not hesitate! This is an awesome boutique hotel just a 10 minute walk from the most incredible beach. Honestly -- it's true, you arrive as a visitor and leave as a friend. Away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo! Fishing; ATV; endless beaches and turtle hatching. Chill out at this most special of places - the coast will amaze you. We had We are vegetarians but they were able to make some of the best food we have had on the entire trip!! Cannot say enough - we will go back in a heartbeat
We stayed 4 nights with Patti and her wonderful staff and were treated like family Chef Ivan created some fresh ceviche from the Dorado we caught, best ever. Jesus backed it up with perfect margaritas, and the local crowd provided ample conversation. If you prefer a quit stay versus the busy hotels on the beach, stay here.
We stayed here last week as we needed to do some business in Los Barilles. It is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Los Pescadores, and the hospitality and service was again exceptional. I didn't think August would be a busy time but Patti was fully booked with a couple of groups who come down regularly to fish. The rooms are comfortable, the pool refreshing, and atmosphere relaxed. Everyone gathers around the bar during happy hour, including neighbours, to share fishing stories. We don't fish, but it was a fun atmosphere anyways (and next time will probably book an outing to experience the sport 1st hand). The chef will cook up fish caught by the guests, and we were lucky that the group was happy to share their large tuna catch, so we enjoyed fresh sashimi one night which was wonderful. We enjoy walking, so even in the heat we walked to the beach to bob around in the waves, though most people get around in ATVs. Besides the odd fisherman fishing from the shore or Mexican family picnicking, we usually had the beach totally to ourselves. Los Barilles is laid back - they say it is like Cabo 50 years ago, which is just perfect.…
My husband and I stayed here for 11 days in July for our honeymoon. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We were here in the summer - hot and humid, but the rooms stayed cool and comfortable with the thick walls, good curtains, fans, and A/C. The pool was a great place to cool off when the beach was too windy or we didn't want to get sandy and salty. The bar is great. Jesus makes the best drinks! If we come back to Los Barriles, there's no doubt that this is where we'll be staying.
