We are at Marival Distinct with an RCI exchange, two adults, and three kids. The room is very nice and updated. However, we are on the second floor in the building with a direct view of the garbage bins and parking garage for the building next door and see the staff taking the garbage out. We were told they have units on higher floors available, but that upgrade will cost an extra $70 per day. The kids are disappointed that this site does not have buffet restaurants. We can take a shuttle ride to the Marival Emotions which is 1 km away to have buffets and the kid's activities at the Emtions resort. That will be very time-consuming if we want to return to our room to brush our teeth or retrieve stuff from the room. In hindsight, we should have stayed at the Emotions and paid a lot less than at this resort. For the view and the fact this is not a kid-friendly resort, I would have selected Emotions or another resort in Mexico. …

Me and my 7 friends had a blast at the Marival Distinct! It was my first time ever coming to Mexico and the staff made this adventure one I will never forget. I felt very safe and welcomed by the staff. Specifically, Octavio and Christian at Lemon Grass. Rueben was a fantastic beach side waiter at Mozzamare and Jorge made the best drinks. Insu was one of my favorite spots at nighttime and Gerry always made me smile :) The beds were so comfy and our 4-bedroom suite room was beautiful.

My friends and I made the trip to Marival Distinct and had a blast. The staff and service exceeded all expectations. We never wanted to leave. We spent most of our time by the pool, beach, and bars and were served by the most spectacular staff! Jared, Cristian, Octavio, Daniel, Manuel, Antonio, and Gerry made sure we had the best experience! I would definitely go back!

My friends and I stayed at Marival Distinct for our graduation trip. Our experience was nothing but exceptional from the second we stepped out of the ride to the resort to when we got back in to go to the airport. Bell boy Lomelo always greeted us with a smile on his face. Our service at Lemon Grass by Jared, Christian, Octavio, Antonio, Manuel and Daniel was absolutely perfect. We loved our servers at Mozzamare as well by Jorge, Ruben and their crew. Nonetheless, bartender Gery at Insu took care of us almost every night with amazing service. We love Distinct!

Marival Distinct was absolutely phenomenal. The service from every staff member was exceptional, and we were always greeted with an inviting smile. Be prepared to have an emotional exit from your stay, because by the end of it, you will have found a friend in every person taking care of you. The bell boys Leonel and Emmanuel never failed to get us to and from our destinations with anything less than absolute ease. Octavio, Cristian, Jared, Lamberto, Daniel, Manuel, and Jorge took fantastic care of us at Lemmon Grass and poolside, and made our days so enjoyable and full of fun. Jorge, Christian, and Ruben kept our beachside meals and drinks flowing with great tact and great conversation. I cannot recommend this resort enough. Octavio helped us out at the pool every day and was amazing!! The service was unmatched. My drink was always filled and they had great suggestions for things to do in Puerto Vallarta. Octavio helped us out the entirety of the week.

Our two bedroom2 bath suite was spacious and had a washer/dryer. The resort grounds were beautifully manicured. Excellent service was provided by all staff members. And the food was top notch! None of this buffet stuff; all cooked to order.

This is our third year coming to the Marival and we can’t wait for more to come. This place has served as a bit of a sanctuary for my family and I and we love everything about it. From the food to the beach to the location, everything is perfect. Our favorite part has to be the staff. Octavio, Lamberto, Jorge, Jared, Cristian, Elian, and Antonio are the absolute best and are the reason why Lemongrass is the #1 best restaurant at the Marival. We love and adore them every much. Can’t wait for next year!!

Grade food, experience, people and service!! Loved Jorge, Jared, Cristian, Octavio, Lamberto, Elcan, and Antonio were absolutely the best at Lemongrass!! The rooms were clean, housekeeping was on the ball. Only 10% extra for room service. Laundry in the rooms were the best!
