Wonderful Family Resort

My family had a very relaxing stay here for a week. Since it is low season there were not a lot of other guests. We often had the indoor pool or the outside hot tub to ourselves. My 6 year old LOVED the Kids Klub. Dalia and Lore were awesome! They provided lots of fun…

Beautiful beaches

The Grand Mayan was awesome! To think that I have a beautiful beach resort 4 hours from Scottsdale is exciting!! I do wish we had more choices in restaurants! Side note I felt completely safe.We did not leave the resort. Maybe next time.

We are heading down to Puerto Peñasco in August. But it’s two different families can anyone tell me how to book the best rooms for a decent price and not $800 like the website says.

Go to a website called redweek.

We are heading down to Puerto Peñasco in August. But it’s two different families can anyone tell me how to book the best rooms for a decent price and not $800 like the website says.

It's mainly a timeshare property. My suggestions would be search for someone selling their timeshare weeks or call the hotel and see if you can go through the timeshare presentation for a discounted rate.

I would agree that your best bet is finding a timeshare owner to rent from. You may be given a better room location is you agree to attend their timeshare presentation ... but be aware of what that entails. They will tell you that it will take 30 minutes to an hour, but it will in fact take 3-4 hours. And it will be HIGH pressure.
