Beautiful hotel whose beauty is, unfortunately, only skin deep. My A/C didn’t work. My room was 78 degrees at 9 p.m. Not horrible, but not pleasant. I asked if they had a fan. They did not. They suggested I open the window (as it was cooler outside). But, the window had no screen and there were mosquitos, as I had discovered while we were in a conference room earlier that evening and I was being attacked by mosquitos because we had to keep the door to the garden open … because the A/C didn’t work there either. They did offer to change my room, but I had already unpacked and kind of expected to encounter the same issue in a different room. When I first called the front desk about the A/C, the phone didn’t work (resulting in multiple trips to the front desk for basic communication). When I tried to use the safe, it didn’t work. The elevator didn’t work. When I came back from a very long work day and trapsed to my room on the top floor in the back of the hotel, my card didn’t work. No one’s card in my group of 15 worked. Yet more unnecessary trips to the front desk. Restaurant service was excruciatingly slow, even by Mexican standards. Even my Mexican coworkers said it was ridiculous. It seems there was only 1 server to handle all the guests during our first two days there. I could go on, from negligible water pressure in the shower to random non-working outlets and so on. In short, find a better hotel. This one may be pretty on the outside, but there must be other options that can provide a more comfortable and relaxing stay.

All about this place is just great. A must visit place if you go to Aguascalientes. The suite has 2 rooms perfect to a group that wants to stay together but have privacy at the same time. Also has a jacuzzi great to have a spa moment and relax just before go to sleep.

I like a lot this hotel, it's beautiful and charming, the only little detail is that they don't have coffee maker in the room; the bed is comfortable but nothing great. The restaurant is very good, they offer a great mexican buffet, I strongly recommend it.

Great rooms with a touch of luxury; exquisite Spanish style architecture, over-sized patios, beautiful gardens and fountains, you'll probably want to conduct your business at one of the property's conference rooms, very fancy place without spending a fortune.

I had a quick one night stay in Aguascalientes. This was a real treasure of a hotel. The price was very reasonable and the accommodations were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The TV had English channels which was nice. I ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent. I felt very safe at this hotel with no issues I would highly recommend to the business or family traveler.

Hotel front-desk personnel was really friendly during check-in and check-out. Even though the hotel seemed pretty empty we got the last room on the top floor left of the presidential suite (room 327). The room's furniture and equipment are dated but it was clean except for a very disgusting, smelly, and stained carpet. No point keeping it! The planters on our way to the room had dead plants or no plants at all and the few that still manage to cling to life had not been watered for who knows how long. Planters with no plants at all just outside of our room were used as ashtrays. Looked like this part of the hotel was being actively neglected. Prices for the minibar were absurdly expensive and it was not that well stocked anyways. The other absurd charge is for the Internet service; I can understand that for hotels in remote locations, but this is in a major city (the state's capital). The pool also needs a lot of maintenance. Water temperature was great but you could see several places where the tiling was coming off or had come off completely. The pool furniture also badly needs renewal. Towel service was very irregular and one day we got there and found used towels, dishes, empty beer cans and other stuff blown away by the wind and just lying there. The Quinta Real chain is supposed to be a (semi?) luxury one and the prices show this but the overall quality is more of a 3-star hotel. I won't be staying at the QR Aguascalientes again, not worth it.

Let me start by saying that the staff was friendly and very inviting. The problem was the extremly apologetic management and the general condition of the amazing architecture of the property. We found broken furniture at the pool, which closes at 6pm because of lack of lighting. Worn out carpeting was a common feature throughout. The major issue was their 5 month policy to disconnect power to the air conditioning to save a few pesos. Even though we were told initially the maintenance department was working on fixing our air conditioning, we found the truth out later because we had multiple rooms with the same problem. Impossible to get a good night sleep in an over heated room unless you care to leave your unscreened window open, risking spending the night with the local insects and the sounds of nearby train whistles.   I have several years of experience in the hotel business and know that the comfort and safety is of the utmost importance for guests. Especially for a luxury hotel! If you are looking at taking wedding pictures... this is the place. If you are a good comfortable night sleep....stay away!

Our two night stay at this hotel was quite good. The hotel is just beautiful, our room was very comfortable and the bathroom just lovely. Dinner at the hotel was not the best and somewhat pricey, but eating out is definitely an option. Valet parking and efficient staff.

There is an issue with acceptance of international credit cards that uses Cirrus network to realize the transactions. The hotel management will not go the extra mile to solve any problems with regards to this issue for their guests. A simple solution like using the old fashion way of vouchers in these specific cases to accommodate their guest is out of the question. Thank god I had enough cash on me to pay. This was insane.
