I might not be the best writer in the world, but I really wanted to drop a few lines for this place. I went with my family and all I can say is that the actual property may need a few updates here and there, but you can barely tell when you are there. the staff is GREAT I already... More

We stopped here during a road trip. It's cheap, safe and off route 1 so if you need a quick stop over during a road trip it's fine. The staff are all really friendly but the rooms are kind of dodgy. I would only go back here if I had no other options. The food was okay, the margaritas were... More

Having read many travelers' reviews for this hotel I wish to comment on my experiences here. Owner Don Johnson is 90 now and a Baja legend. When he is on the property he mingles a lot with the guests and has many stories to recount which guests enjoy. He just installed 50 new air conditioning units in the rooms so... More

Very nice staff, good breakfast. The property could use some work, but it is still nice. Then again almost all small hotels in baja could use some work. After getting off a bike it was very relaxing and having a pool is a huge bonus. Food was average, but good.

I booked through email and send my credit card information twice as they said it didn't go through the first time. I emailed to confirm reservation before leaving Seattle and never got a response. When we arrived at hotel after long flight and drive up from Loreto we found they had no record of the reservation and since it was... More

Wow, this is a very nice hotel and the price is perfect. The only reason that I didn't give this hotel a rating of 5 is no internet in the rooms and no English channels on the TV. Otherwise this hotel is off the charts good!! Now that I know about this place I will stay here every time I... More

This is a difficult one to comment on. The hotel was unique in that I have never stayed in a hotel before with its own airstrip and it had all the facilities to be a lovely hotel, but it was very dated. Despite me saying it is dated, clearly people aren't too bothered because it was fully booked when we... More

This hotel has gone downhill in the past years. It is run-down and unattractive. Leaky roofs, bad paint rock-hard beds. It was very disappointing to see the changes. The pool was nice, but cool. We had 5 rooms, some didn't ever get hot water for a shower.

The old place is still standing and never disappoints with neat travelers and staff. Rooms are basic, but large and spacious with shower. But who stays in the room except to sleep. Restaurant and bar always good for all meals. There meal of the day was ribs and came complete with veggies , chips and salsa, free marguerite and desert.... More
