My wife and I often stay in B&B's during our holidays. Over the years we've literally visited dozens in several countries. However, I've never written a review about them. Until now that is. White House Farm is truly exceptional. Host and owner Mary is simply wonderful, really going out of her way to make you feel welcome and right at... More

Mary is an excellent hostess and I felt completely spoilt and looked after. The house is lovely, the room is beautiful, spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the whole place perfectly charming. The garden is gorgeous. I was very lucky with the weather (I visited towards the end of July) and there were flowers blooming everywhere! Very friendly doggies... More

We were given a voucher for our wedding for a stay at White House Farm and we finally managed to redeem it nearly two years later! We just had one night, but it was such a treat - a delicious evening meal, relaxing bath and comfy bed and then after a wonderful night's sleep, we woke up to a yummy... More

It was lovely to be back at Whitehouse Farm and to see Mary again. We were made really welcome, as always, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wonderful breakfast in the conservatory in the morning. It is great to find some good things never change.

The B&B is pretty with a lovely garden you can have coffee and cake in, whilst being kept company by two friendly dogs and beautiful cats! We stayed in the annex, so had a mix of B&B and self catering which worked brilliantly. We were served good hearty breakfasts and homemade cakes which even filled up my husband. The location... Mary is very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Tea and cake in their wonderful garden, with their dogs and long haired cats in close attendance, followed by a walk to see the chickens, is a must. We had three wonderful days visiting the area, Mary was very helpful booking tables for dinner each night. Our double bed and room was small,... More

We only stayed for 3 nights but wish it could have been longer, Mary makes you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was first class and so were the evening meals, we stayed in the annexe which was like home from home and very comfortable. This is a great base for visiting different parts of the... More

You are welcomed by Mary with tea/coffee and cake. The accommodation is lovely and tranquil in its location. Perfectly located for the many nature reserves in the area and also for the Thursford Collection. I have stayed there three times now and it is a wonderful home from home. Breakfast is always fresh and lovely. I cannot recommend this place... More
