Had a lovely 5 nights. Idyllic setting, with fab views from bar terrace area over the vista. Pool in good order, staff helpful, particularly in bar/restaurant . Food v.good for evening meal, which we enjoyed twice with my vegetarian wife and elder daughter. Evening entertainment is worth making time for - Glen Anderson did an excellent set, catering for a... Spent a week self catering at Whitbarrow Village. Positives: The site is very well maintained - clean and tidy with landscaped gardens and no litter. There is a duck pond with plenty of ducks to feed. The site has crazy golf, a swimming pool, gym and games room. The property we stayed in was a Kirkstone design. The kitchen looked... More

Just back from a great holiday at Whitbarrow Village. From arriving to leaving we couldn't of ask for much more. The Village on arrival was immaculate and stayed that way all through the holiday from the outdoor areas ( play area, Golf and woodland walks ) and the indoor facilities Gym, pool, games room and bar/restaurant. The staff were very... More

We have stayed with you now 4 times and enjoy our visits to the Lakes. In previous years there has been entertainment on nearly every night and by entertainment I mean bingo, card games and children's disco, as well as a singer. This year we were disappointed with the lack of entertainment particularly for children. Due to this we only... More

My husband, grandaughter and I stayed for a chill-out week in August this year. Overall our experience was a good one. We stayed in one of the Kirkstone lodges. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with furniture and kitchen acessories. There was a bit of a step in the split level lounge/kitchen space which you had to... More

Spent a brilliant week at Whitbarrow Village in July, staying in the new Park Collection (apartment 2) this had 3 double bedrooms all with en-suite and flat screen tv's. From the moment we stepped through the front door we were absolutely amazed by the sheer quality of the decor, top notch appliances, fixtures and fittings, all this made our stay... More

Came for 4 days, initially the rooms were clean, the cleaner was good, but then must have changed as the standard fell. Light in the kitchen area hanging down. Decided to go to the bar for a drink, sat at the bar for almost 20mins waiting for a drink, we were the only people sat there, staff ignored us and... More

This little village provides everything you need for a short break, I had packed from previous experiences with everything from toilet paper to tea towels but everything was provided in plenty. We had an 8 and a 4 year old with us who didn't want to leave the park, pool, mini golf and fully equipped chalet. Children are welcomed with... More
