We spent 2 wonderful nights at B&B La Magara in October, 2016. Our Room, "Lisina" was a large King bed room, with a large balcony looking straight out toward the cliffs, and a beautiful view of Civita to the right. The owner, Antonella, is a very friendly and wonderful Host. She inherited the B&B from her family, and takes great...

A wonderful quiet town with lots to see. B&B was located on a very quiet street. Rooms were large, comfortable beds and great showers. House was really soundproof. Views were extraordinary from the small balcony in the room. An added feature for our group, Antoinella allowed us to cook our own dinner in her large well equipped kitchen. I'm looking...

The room was new and in excellent condition. The hospitality was amazing, and the fresh eggs for breakfast together with well cooked bacon were extra surprises. The view from the balcony of the room, which included the village and the mountains surrounding this beautiful spot, were some of the best I have ever experienced

La Magara is located in the beautiful village Civita in the mountains which has a very unique history of Abanians who founded this village during Ottoman empire invasion. La Magara is run by a very friendly beautiful Antonella, one can tell she put all her heart into this little B&B house. Its very cozy, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and the...

This is a lovely property and some of the rooms are absolutely wonderful and charming. Mine was not. I had “ Maruwina” (as best I could read the handwritten sign) which was the first door to the right on the lower level. From the other rooms I saw on the main and first floors, it was considerably smaller, with a...

After 4 weeks in Sicily I picked La Magara. What a fortunate choice. The signs are small but the locals helped us find the right way through the labyrinth of streets. Antonella is a princess. Helped with the bags through the winding way. The room and WiFi excellent and the breakfast Supreme. My wife and I are happy to have...

We stay two nights in Civita while doing a little sightseeing and genealogy research in an neighboring town. All we can say is that this place is simply terrific. The owner, Antonella, is attentive, a genuinely nice person, and went far above and beyond the expected for my wife and I. Southern Italy in general, and this location is particular...

Together my daughter, her husband and three kids, we stayed for two nights, almost 3 days at the “La Magara” B&B, located in the “arberesh” mountain village of Civita. We spent days full of joys and impressions, which we still keep in our minds. The feeling of being among brothers and sisters sharing the same ancient Albanian origin as us...
