We were a bit worried before arriving because of some comments on tripadvisor or on booking websites, but we decided to choose this hotel because of its price and location, in the very centre of southern Apulia. The service and staff was great, super kind and helpful, but not overwhelming at all. The room was great, very big with a... More

Very disappointing, food was diabolical. The worst we have eaten in Southern Italy. Beds uncomfortable, generally shabby and run down....what a shame. The family worked very hard to accommodate us, but in need of a total refurb and update.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Al2000 in August. This is not an anonymous, chain-run hotel - and staying here is a very personal experience. The hotel is owned and run by Nino and his family (and was built by Nino's father) who all go to enormous lengths to ensure that their guests are happy. So there is no... More

I went to Hotel Al 2000For two weeks in August with my husband and 11 year old daughter . It was our main holiday for the year so expectations were high, but we were not disappointed. It provided everything we wanted in a holiday and the whole experience was completely stress free. We all came back rested and happy! It... More

Friends and I stayed for a week at Hotel Al Duemila and felt completely relaxed on our return. Whilst it was an all inclusive holiday it was completely not what you might expect. It is NOT a huge resort full of anonymous faces. Rather, it is small and friendly - nothing is too much bother and the answer is always... More

We have spent two relaxing weeks at the hotel. Tucked away in a peaceful location and a short walk to Felline, a buzzing little village with fine restaurants and quirky festivals. Niño and his family/staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. Free trips to beach, markets and local villages( no matter what time of day or night)...nothing was a problem!.... More

Me and my husband have just got back from 11 days at Al Duemila which overlapped with the previous reviewer, and yes, we recognise some of the frustrations expressed: the meals could be very drawn-out, there could have been fresh fruit available at every breakfast (especially considering we were in Puglia), and maybe providing olives and other light, savoury nibbles... We returned from a 11 day stay yesterday we are a family of four. We are so disapointed the hotel did not live up to our expectations or the blurb composed by Long Travel that sold it to us. Totally agree with all family McL's comments. This hotel is certainly not all inclusive it's full board with drinks, as if... More

Agree with most of the reviews regarding the friendliness but there were too many issues to recommend this destination with long travel. Overall we were left disappointed with our stay. The hotel was generally clean but there are lots of little signs that not much gets sorted and was left with the overriding impression that all the 'systems!' they operate... More

Had a fantastic time, everybody was really helpful and there was plenty of food. We were collected from the airport and there was always someone available to take you to the beach or the towns nearby. The Hotel staff, especially the owner could not do enough. Overall a really enjoyable relaxing stay and the kids loved the pool too and... More

“We had one of the garden rooms - plenty of space and more than ample storage for three people who dont believe in travelling light.Lovely and peaceful and nice to have patio to chill, play cards etc - not that we used it as much as we planned. Only drawback was that there are no shower curtains so bathroom becomes a bit of a wet room.TV didnt work but that was no big deal.”
