Fabulous retreat in Provence. Ingrid and Johan are wonderful hosts and their place is lovingly kept. We really enjoyed the decoration details, the setting, and the delicious breakfasts and dinners. The town of Bargemon is within walking distance and very cute. Highly recommend!

We spent 3 days and 3 nights in this haven of peace. Everything was perfect, the warm welcome, the wonderful room, the breathtaking site... the generous and so original breakfast. We took advantage of the swimming pool area, jacuzzi and sauna. It was 3 days out of time...

Went there twice, it's the perfect place for couples or families. Very nice area, and the Mas itself is just beautiful. Breakfast is exceptional. The hosts are lovely. There are all sorts of animals, the dogs are super nice :-) I love the place and will be back as soon as possible.

My family and I stayed at the Mas la Jaina property in Bargemon for 2 nights during our recent trip to the Provence region of France. By far this was the highlight of our trip - Ingrid and Jo'an made us feel very welcome during our entire stay at their incredible property. They were very accommodating and made sure my wife and I plus our two little children had a fantastic visit. Everything about their property is amazing. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. The breakfast..oh the breakfast...the best we've ever had - not only the famous fruit salad but also the eggs and bacon with all the extra trimmings. Although it was too cold to swim (late March), there is an amazing eco pool available for use. They have some animals on the property -dogs, chickens, donkey and lamas which put a big smile on my kids face. Highly recommend - we'll be back for sure.

I would not normally post a review, however, we have just had 5 days staying at Mas La Jaina in Bargemon and I felt compelled to write one. The hospitality we received from the owners, Ingrid and Johan Hombergen was outstanding - they were both so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late and their first thought was had we had dinner - they booked us into the most fabulous restaurant and when we came home had prepared out room for us so all we had to do was fall into bed. The view from our bedroom was so beautiful and it was such a treat to wake up to the Hombergen's breakfast. The garden, the lavender, the hills in the background, the natural swimming pool were all picture perfect - one of the highlights for us was their gorgeous dogs and we will especially miss Malcolm. If we could give 6 stars we would. The rooms are well equipped and as it is a B & B, Ingrid and Johan have anticipated everything you might need for lunch or dinner - there is a BBQ, microwave, ice maker - you name it, it is all there. After three weeks in Europe we fell on their washing machine that you can use at will. The only thing that you really do need is a car so you can experience all the little towns around the area. A big thank you to Ingrid and Johan and we would recommend Mas La Jaina to anyone.

A big thank you to Ingrid and Johan who were fantastic host. Their eco B&B is heaven within provence. A short walk up the hill and you enter the beautifull town of Bargemon where you can enjoy a nice glass of Rose. A special mention to the breakfast which is a piece of art and absolutly delicious especially the fresh eggs with their hats on!

Wow just wow.

We spent 3 days here in Early July 2014. And this experience was really one to remember.

Mas La Jaina is a one of a kind. And a place we will keep on coming back to.

We stayed in Suite Bon Repos, and this suited us perfectly. It is beautiful appointed and everything is of really high quality. - Not common in France, we had a huge true king size bed and down stairs the kids had a really nice sleeper sofa to share.

Ingrid and Johan are the most amazing hosts. They are so sweet and was making our stay even more special every moment of the day. No corners cut here.

The Lake/pool is a fun experience, but if you are afraid to share your swimming experience with a tadpole this is not the place for you.

The animals at this farm/hotel/B&B is a large part of the concept and the dogs are likable and sweet to be around.

The breakfast is soo good, and the eggs from the hens - which by the way you can se further down in garden while eating- are a whole other experience than eating them store bought.
And the fruit salad...... I drool just thinking about it.

You can walk up the hill to Bargemon in 20 minutes, and this will work up a good appetite for your dinner at one of the small restaurants there.

This place is so serene and calm that I think we will use it for de-stressing in the years to come.

We spent our autumn holiday in Provence and stayed at Mas la JaĂŻna.
For us – a married couple (62 and 58) – the double room Thulo was ideal.
Small, but cosy and with everything we needed. Still, when we revisit Mas la JaĂŻna, we might want to occupy a suite. And we might want to bring our children some time and our friends some other time. There will be room for all in one of the suites.
Mas la Jaïna is situated in the mountains, the rooms / suites have cosy terraces with a beautiful view of the grounds. There is a walk of 1½ km to Bargemon – uphill. We enjoyed a couple of meals there. Other days we went to Cannes and walked along the beach, to a local market in Lorque and to Grasse to see two museums of perfume. In the evening we brought bread, tomatoes and cheese to Mas la Jaïna, bought a bottle of wine and dined at our terrace.
The breakfast was served in a large dining and sitting room and consisted of fresh fruit, grape- and orange juice, bread and several kinds of jam and jelly and of cheese, tea and coffee, everything extremely delicious. Outside the dining and sitting room is a large terrace that we could access all day.
The hosts, Ingrid and Johan, have two very friendly dogs and a cat and chickens. And two donkeys and lamas mow the lawns. Ingrid and Johan run the place according to ecological principles and use the water from the mountains for both indoor and outdoor pools. The place is very interesting to see for people who are interested in technology and nature.

We were suspicious of all the great reviews, but it turned out that they are all accurate!
Johan and Ingrid are the most welcoming, warm and helpful host and hostess. Food was great, setting was great, facilities were great.
We hope to return soon.
