Yuck. The hotel is falling apart. The only nice thing about this hotel is that it is located on the beach. Their stage used for entertainment is set up in the parking lot. Tiles are missing, corners of the building have fallen off. Not impressed.

I stayed at the IC Presidente with my wife and two children in late March. We had found quite a good price through funjet vacations, and thought we'd give the Pacific Coast of Mexico a try, having been to the Mayan Riviera previously, as well as to Cuba many times. The resort was as described in several previous reviews. It...

Back from our fourth annual trip to Ixtapa and Presidente InterContinential. Since it was the fourth trip you might gather that I am a fan of Ixtapa and this resort. However, this time there were some issues. For the first time we did not stay in the tower and that was a big mistake. The poolside room had a nice...

For my very first trip to Mexico, I don't think I could have picked a better place to stay. On a cold Friday evening in Calgary, my husband and I decided to fly south, the next morning!!!! The travel agent only had this hotel available, but I was so thouroghly impressed by its beauty and service standards. The hotel itself...

We spent a week here in March, and enjoyed ourselves overall and felt we got reasonably good value for what we spent. Our room (an oceanview in the tower) was basic and a bit dated, and was showing some signs of disrepair (e.g. badly chipped floor tiles). Some of the common areas are also in need of updates and upgrades....

Just returned home on the 8th. Couldn't ask for better weather, sunny everyday. The hotel is dated, but the rooms were kept clean. The first room they assigned us was next to the disco/nightclub at the next hotel, so after putting up with that for 3 nights we asked to be moved. Should of done it after the first night,...

Forth time...and keeps getting better. Comming from COLD Canada, the resort offers so much. From excellent meals, great pools, plenty of lounge chairs, excellent activity staff, wonderful and friendly staff (which some have become friends). There is no doubt that my next vacation will be Ixtapa. Traveling with other females, I felt safe to leave the resort to shop or...

My wife and I stayed at the El Presidente the last week of February. I travel to Mexico for business often and for vacation occasionally. I have vacationed in Cancun and Cozumel , but when I desire a taste of Mexico as it truly is, I go to Ixtapa and El Presidente. The people are exceptional in their desire to...

We just arived back from the InterContinental Presidente and we realy enjoyed. We would stay there again. It is an older property built in the 70s and in some areas it shows but it is kept clean. We stayed in a garden view suite and found it very nice and quiet and comfortable with a king size bed, good view...
