The hotel has 5 stars buildings with 3 stars maintenance, the service is bad, beds are impossible to rest, cleaning in the room it's just ok, but in shared places as restrooms awful, or at the pool they left the glasses in the floor, and get down into the water, air conditioner doesn't work Breakfast is fine other foods bad quality, specially dinner, wine it's terrible, small glasses, the only alcoholic beverage that it's ok it's the beer Ocean view its great and some waiters very nice

Large, clean, full-service resort that is consistently great. Restaurants are good, rooms clean, beach clean, pools clean also. Occasionally, late-night revelry filters up from lobby area to hallways and can be annoying. Otherwise, great stay!

We had been to Brisas Ixtapa 5 times from 2000-2013, but were not able to vacation anywhere from 2014 until now. Wile the value for the price was still there, and we did have a very nice time - our disaapointment at how far downhill the resort and staff have gone was hard to not let negatively affect our stay. We have decided that we will stay in Zihuatenejo next visit to the area.

While the hotel is still very impressive in terms of its award-winning architecture, the management philosophy and direction for running the place has taken a bit of a negative hit. The focus is now 99% on all-inclusive guests in every part of the hotel. The menus have been reduced and simplified in their restaurants. The pool and beach services are designed for very large volumes of wristband wearing guests who are drinking large quantities of all-inclusive alcohol. They've quit their 6PM happy hour because all-inclusive guests only order drinks on their plan. And it seems all-inclusive customers receive lower priority in terms of promptness of service and attention. The whole place is now set up for volume which means fewer options and lower quality. Also, this maybe a nit, but they used to post the taxi fare at the hotel entrance so one could know what to expect to pay when traveling to commonly asked-for locations. Since they had removed it, I asked the bell-captain the cost of taking a taxi downtown, he said "ask the driver." During our trip, I notice we were paying slightly different fares depending on the driver, to travel to the same places. While we probably will return because of amazingly unique beach, a good amount of the charm in staying at the hotel has definitely rubbed off. …

We are Las Brisas guests for the last 18 years! The hotel’s service and attention of its amazingly friendly staff are exceptional! We have always been impressed and wait to return. The hotel designed by Ricardo Legoretta is an architectural gem of modernist Mexican architecture! It is one of the reasons we like to come back :-) This type of design ages gracefully and Las Brisas management should feel fortunate to be in charge of such a spectacular design. A few suggestions: menus in a la carte restaurants became quite monotonous, the lack of sea food or rather sea food available only outside of all-inclusive is disappointing. PLEASE return La Brisa II to all-inclusive program. It is quite depressing to see this exceptional in the past restaurant empty and slipping out of its days of glory and delicious choices on the menu. Maybe there can be extra charge for certain items, but PLEASE work on having it back its previous success! We are sure that Las Brisas can, in the age of advaced computer systems, get rid of all-inclusive bracelets. In the past the hotel was not using bracelets and it added a certain type of class to the hotel service. Finally we would like to complement Las Brisas exceptional staff. The hotel management should be proud to have these professionals on board: always friendly Jorge and Victor at the pool bar, always accommodating and professional capitana Eneida! Martin at Solarium and Mexicana. Super friendly and fluent in English Yazmin S. ( sorry we forgot her last name), wonderful Rosario from the bar and Mexicana and Santiago who is definitely the best at the reception. Las Brisas is located on the edge of Ixtapa with its private beach and a spectacular view that no other hotel will have. Their staff is one of a kind , and always ready to help guests. My family and I will definitely return to Las Brisas and Ixtapa.

There is no mini bar or refreshments replenished in your room, other than coffee. Just so people know! Service was top notch, food was delicious. Would be nice to have more of a variety of foods or theme nights, if theme nights they should also let the guests know and maybe they can plan to attend those nights if they wish.

Thank you brisas hotel staff. I enjoyed the stay and would do it again. It is affordable for me with two other friends . We each paid 60 dollars apiece for each nigh and it the very first time I have ever stayed in a hotel like this. I usually would never pay such a sum but hell you only live once

Beautiful rooms. To soft of a bed. Only one elevator location, so if you are far...good luck. The staff is outstanding, if you are not all inclusive, food prices are ok try Brisas ll is awesome. City food is amazing! If you want to walk to street is very far. This forces you to use their overpriced taxis. We walked to get a bus/pecera 10 minute walk. Hotel Taxi avg. $200 mx, City Taxi $100 mx, pecera $17 mx big difference. Over All, great experience, forgot to mention the great pools. Sunsets from the pool are a must!
