Travelers' Choice
Nestled into the side of a mountain and surrounded by tropical vegetation on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mexican Pacific Riviera is where you will find this secluded tropical paradise that offers the perfect balance between recreation and relaxation. A private hilltop entrance leads into a stone courtyard with dramatic fountain, where porters escort new arrivals to the open-air reception area. Bright colors, high ceilings, and keyhole views of the Pacific Ocean highlight hotel's striking architecture. Las Brisas Ixtapa is a particular favorite of honeymooners for its romantic setting and rooms with private terraces, all with ocean views.

My stay at this beautiful resort was far beyond my expectations and fared much better than most reviews I had read. Facilities were clean and gorgeous, Landscape, surroundings and beach were absolutely stunning. Staff was always friendly and attentive. I could go on & on but lets just leave it to say that I was beyond pleased and impressed with the entire adventure. Special thanks to Lenin, the General Manager, Monica, The reservations manager, and to Victoria, with Housekeeping. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a wonderful experience Thank you, Las Brisas!

Sad that this beautiful hotel gives such a bad service. I asked for a Junior Suite and the jacuzzi did not work ... asked to get fixed, had to wait long, had to have dinner at the last hour, had to return to the room to wait for maintenance that, do to the pandemia (one understands) came in almost 10PM... he could not fix it, since it needed a new motor. At reception they could not give us a new suite until the next day, and this did not happened until noon, having to call and go to the reception a few times. I advised that they should not charge me one day for this room category... charge a regular room. At the moment they all understood until the time for checkout, the manager, Mr. William Cervera, “would not approve this, they could give us a discount for the next visit” ...Of course there will not be next-visit even if I have been a client of them for many years. Shame, because little things matters. Sorry #lasbrisas #lasbrisasixtapa @lasbrisas @lasbrisasixtapa

. This was our 9th time returning to Las Brisas Ixtapa, and it never disappoints. The staff are amazing and keep us coming back. From Pedro, Sergio, Margarito, David on the beach and the best lifeguards in Ixtapa Victor and Arturo to the lobby with Itzel and Balti also Cirillo in Bellavista and Reynaldo in the Solarium and Jasmine in La Brisas 2 + many more they always make us feel like family in our home away from home. Even with a global pandemic taking place they were calming and provided a top notch level of service to us. We look forward to returning soon for another visit.

Overall very pleased with this hotel, the amenities, and staff. The only negative - we booked into the Brisas II a la carte restaurant by the beach for my birthday. I had the "catch of the day" described as being caponata with tomatoes and capers. It had neither and the fish was very dry and overcooked. My friend's main was of a similar quality. The appy's were great, and dessert tasty. However, halfway through dessert, the servers brought a "Birthday" cake with candle and they sang to me - which was really lovely - but I didn't need 2 desserts. So a little forethought from the server to bring the Birthday cake first and then take orders for dessert might have been a better idea. But that really was our only complaint. The other 2 a la carte restaurants were fabulous. Never had a problem finding lounge chairs and palapas on the beach or by the pools (however, this was pre-Spring break and just before everything was shut down because of Covid.) Oh, and the Adult only pool really was, so wonderfully relaxing if that's what you're looking for. Oh and the beds were very comfortable in a large spacious room.
