We arrived and received a box of home grown vegetables and fruit, honey mead wine and lots of friendly conversation. Gorgeous little cottage with wood burning fire, cosy rooms and large bed, all pretty old fashioned and basic but that's all you need on a honeymoon... such a pretty little area too.

very peaceful and great as a getaway retreat , leave the interweb behind and relax. Sadly the whole place needs a bit of a makeover and needs to update its website, if the little pub had been open it would have saved long expensive trips to surrounding towns and villages for meals. oh how hard would it be to check... Just come back from a wonderful week in the idyllic Anne's Cottage which is one of the sixteen cottages in the hamlet of Trefanny Hill. We were made really welcome by John, Eileen, Kelly and Howard, who even went out his way to give us a lift into the next village. Yes the cottage is rustic but what do you... More

We booked a two week honeymoon here having fallen for the promises and photos on the website - and there lies our mistake!! We complained on the first day about several things including the state of the cottage we were in. Bramble Cottage, although tidy,it was shabby, dirty, thick dust and cobwebs in lights, walls and curtains; dust stuck to grease... More

Its a horrible place its gone down hill year by year, I wouldn't wish my worst enemy stay there the inn is never opened when it is poor food and to expensive the pool is dirty and grubby, the rooms are small dark and damp overall must be the worst place ever for a holiday.

Fantastic pool, like a bath in the middle of a field. Kids loved all of the facilities, games room, play area and tennis court. Lots of great walks, you could walk all the way to looe, if you feel adventurous. Cottage had lots of character and so clean. With everything you could need for a lovely stay. I will be... More

Just stayed here for 5 days and must admit the place is beautiful. If you want somewhere peaceful and calm with no mobile phone signal then this is the place. The cottages are your traditional 'roses round the door' charming English type but there is a fine line between 'rustic' and 'untidy'. The gardens and surrounding areas in places are... More
