called in for dinner, were lucky to get a table. my wife had the proper beef pie and i had the beef madras. both meals were superb, especially the madras curry and coming from shipley in west yorkshire which has best curry house in briton award it has to be good as we know our currys.

Lovely friendly pub, busy with both holiday makers and locals. Has a real traditional feelto it and people are happy to have conversations with you be it locals giving you tips on the best bbeaches or other holidaymakers telling of where they have visited. Great for your four legged friends, they do make a fuss of them each getting a...

My husband and I visited with my son and our friends who we were holidaying with in St Issey. Read decent reviews so walked to the local pub for a quick pub meal. Was told there were no tables but my husband had already found an annexe with plenty of spare tables in it. Were told it was a 90...

Very convenient for both Padstow and Wadebridge. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Boys had twin room with ensuite and we had double with private bathroom opposite....we preferred because there was much more room. We ate in the pub each night because the food was good quality and gave plenty of choice. Because it is a great pub/restaurant it gets...

Evening meal, not residents. Relatively small restaurant so can be busy as quite popular but they tell you approximate food times, so no surprises. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly (some of the best we have encountered this holiday). Breads provided whilst we waited for food order (nice touch). Good pub grub, freshly cooked - we'd definitely go again when...

Had a great evening meal with family... We all had different dishes and although we had to wait a little while longer than you'd expect it was well worth the wait. Lovely landlord and staff and a great atmosphere. Worth a visit without a doubt as only a short drive from the busy padstow area

The rooms are small. I am 1.82metre tall ( 6' 2" for the old school ) so the beds were short and the door frames low. Minor detail. Great place and people. Superb food. A bit isolated, but a ca is required for cornwall anyway. Recommended by this Grackle!
