Truly amazing food with a varied menu. Turbot was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding with Cornish clotted cream was a highlight. The bedroom and bathrooms were newly refurbished but still need some finishing touches. More heating, better lighting and more attention to servicing the room (the waste bin was not emptied during the three day stay). Would highly recommend...

Although we are regular visitors to the area for some reason we hadn't visited before, however we went twice in a week and will be back. Excellent food, great service and value for money. The menu is a little limited but what we had was of high quality.

We decided to pop into Halfway House for Lunch last Wednesday (19th April) having heard from locals that the food is great. We were not disappointed, the service was attentive and swift. Between us we had the crab sandwich and fish goujon sandwich, all of which were delicious and quite a plateful. Have decided to return with friends in a...

Whilst on a family holiday in Wadebridge, we visited the Halfway House twice (it was really that good!). First we had the Sunday lunch carvery (very popular, you would be advised to book). The carvery is very good...four meats, copious amounts of various vegetables, stuffing (really good!), enormous Yorkshire puddings and "proper" gravy! A variety of beautiful presented desserts will...

Visited a few years ago and was served by a most unfriendly barmaid, it was with some in trepidation that I paid a further visit with friends. We were greeted by a charming young lady, served a splendid lunch and left feeling much happier with the world.

We were looking for somewhere to stay for a short weekend away and found this gem. The food and staff is wonderful. Freshly cooked breakfast, great ingredients and amazing chefs. The room was modern and very comfortable with a huge bed, spa shower and proper coffee machine. The only negative we could find was thin walls between the rooms so...

Having visited the halfway house inn on a number of occasions (we tried in June 2016 but it was closed) we thought we'd give it another go . We went quite early in the evening to be assured of a table which was just as well because there were a number of reserved tables which I feel is a very...
