1. Old-fashioned keys (not plastic cards) of rooms that fit to another ones! Don't think I realized it trying to open another rooms one by one. It was my mistake, I was very tired and opened the room in front of mine at the very first day. I was very surprised because I thought it was my room. Since then I used a latch every time being in the room.
2. There's no card with "Don't disturb/Clean up"! I did it on my own) Rooms cleaning happens every time me and my child having a nap. I asked another clients, it seems noone room has these cards( for the hotel it's so easy to buy them! Ridiculous!
3. Because of the point 1 (regular key instead of plastic ones) if you leave the room nothing works (especially fridge), so no wonder your water is always warm. And yeah, only one key for a family.
4. Restaurant is better. It has a lot of tasty meals. But it has some drawbacks. Some plates have broken edges, some tableware is not clean enough and yeah it's a complicated quest to find cutleries. Restaurant starts working at 7, but at the bar where you can get (and only there) bottles of water, there were no personnel even at about 7:30. Some meals are cooking in real time (great!), But the queue to them is really long, it may take 10 minutes wait. The same is about Turkish coffee not far from the main restaurant.
5. Animation is typical, not bad at least. Animators do their best but we became boring watching the same program day by day.
6. Cleaning is ok, but still not excellent. Sand on the floor wasn't clean. The mirror hasn't been washed, the dust is on the same place. But water in the fridge restore always.
Pros:
I'd love to notice more pros, because I'm happy spending time with my family after the hard year. Nonetheless, territory is good. There are some good pools and a waterpark. Kids have a lot of fun in the pools with slides. Especially I appreciate awning above one of the kids pool.
And some additional information:
Sea is great, but the shore is heugh. It's usually red flag (sometimes yellow and red) there.
In sum, I won't get back here, but the price isn't too much for it too.
First of all, we had nine nights. The first 3 days in the room were not cleaned at all, the bed was not changed, I went to swear - cleaned as it happened, replaced the bed with towels, and then for the legs in 9 nights once replaced, and again only need to swear. The garbage was lying around, the toilet, the washbasin was never washed. They don't do wet cleaning either, they don't vacuum, they just sweep with a broom. The food is terrible, everything is not delicious, if even on the grill it is without salt at all. Fruits are very few oranges, apple, watermelon, in 9 days once there were apricots. The staff is angry, not friendly. I'm with a baby for 4 months and with an 8-year-old, without a husband were, we were given a room on the 2nd floor, asked to replace, I can't carry a pram up the steps, said no rooms available, I found 3 rooms available, they said pay money. The Spruce Operator's Vacation Package replaced the room, although the reservation stated 1 floor. No one gave the lost nipple to the chains named on the beach.
At the bar, almost all cocktails are paid for, no ice cream. Coke and sprite only at the bar, no access. Drinking water only on the bar , in the dining room you can pour into a cup, you cannot take it with you in a bottle or sealed cup. In the cafeteria like a maximum security colony, a little kid was shirtless because he was lost on the beach, not allowed in. Even an apple can't be taken out of the dining room there are caretakers and rude answers.
There were days when there were no shows, and if there was, it was just hotel employees dancing. This horror has never been anything in nine days except dancing that I could dance myself. There's no disco in the hotel.
There was a celebration, usually hotels have a special menu, and here the first 10 people were given cocktails and that's it, the menu is regular. Don't give any more, and whoever came in first had nice hotels, my kid wanted one too, but we went in about 15, and we didn't get .
The staff doesn't speak Russian.
The plus side is the sea.
In other words, accommodation is the maximum satisfaction for me.
The environment is beautiful, everything is close, super maintained.
The water park with water slides is great, the children went crazy, maximum satisfaction.
Pools clean, everything perfect.
Alcohol at the pool bar, but we had no problems with that. Beer and soft drinks in all bars in the resort.
The beach was great, they cleaned and tidied nonstop, they also guarded it. Great access to the sea. We had waves all week, so swimming in the sea was difficult, but it was possible. We enjoyed jumping into the sea from the jetty the most.
Food - I don't know what to write here. There was an incredible amount of food, always. There were still fruits and cakes. Some of the cakes were too sweet for me, but that's probably the case with them, I don't know. Some were great though. Various species varied. There was always fruit, melons were excellent. You could choose your breakfast, there were hams, eggs, sometimes scrambled eggs, sausages, something like leche, semolina porridge (excellent), jams, cereals, excellent pastries. However, what we saw was the problem, lunches and dinners were still the same meals, maybe a few changes, but basically still the same. Although there is a lot of food, always at least 7-8 types of meat, fish, but always in the same way and for us very spicy and peppery. So, after 3 days, I went to eat only in the children's corner, where there was food for children - although the meat was tasteless, but better than the over-seasoned ones.... The fish was still only baked and therefore drier for me and baked in oil, i.e. greasy . I missed plain natural chicken, slices of pork, beef was only about 2x in 8 days. Basically, the biggest problem for me was the food, which I'm sorry about, because otherwise it was great there.
First week or so, no concerns over getting sun beds by either pool, much busier second week and if you're not on one by 9ish you probably won't get one. Got on the water slides, no issues. Beach is lovely. There are free cocktails, albeit not your normal cocktails, which you do have to buy, but there are free ones. Food served all day in one place or another. Shisha bar on site. Lyra Park shopping centre a stonesthrow away. Closest bar/restaurant is 15 mins walk away, which has sports, as the hotel does not.
Entertainment going on throughout the day by the entertainment team. Some of it is not very good. And there isn't clear information on evening entertainment. It is all very confusing and not well planned out. But some shows were good, every instruction/ conversation is given in 5 different languages and the main entertainer is really, really boring.
Went on a few excursions, which were fun. The full day boat trip to the market and waterfalls is not what they sell you. You go on a trip in a boat, out to sea, back in, stop on a beach, then have food there and are able to swim. Then get put back onto a bus and taken to the waterfall/ Market. Side old town is lovely and well worth a visit. Buggy/quad riding is also fun.
The hotel does not even meet 4 star standards.
Pros:
- there are children's pools and slides on the beach
- very friendly staff in the restaurant
That's where the positives end.
Minuses:
- The family room in the photo looks nice, in real life the second room is a closet with a small window. You can't sit on the balcony in the evening, because... the neighboring balcony is one and a half meters from yours))))
- KETTLE!!! Are you seriously? In a five star hotel there is no kettle in the room!!!! People with small children will understand how they need boiling water in their room to prepare food. We had to run from our room to the restaurant for boiling water.
- Air conditioners are a different matter. They work exactly when you are not in the room and at 5 pm they are turned off. The rooms are incredibly stuffy and it is simply impossible to sleep at night. The child constantly wakes up and cries
- The food leaves much to be desired. There’s not much to choose from in the main restaurant, their local dishes are not to everyone’s taste, but the grill, firstly, is the same almost every day, they don’t try to surprise you with anything, and secondly, it’s so fried that it’s almost burnt . And keep in mind that if you don’t come to the opening, you won’t get a lot of things
-Bar. Yes, it’s scary to approach him. The stench is incredible. After trying it once, I had to go to the store for drinks. And by the way, don’t forget your glasses, the dishes are very dirty
