Went for lunch and to visit TE Lawrences grave and the church. Pub had a good range of beer and excellent menu's. Staff were very friendly and disabled access was good. (Use the front door). Prices were readonable. Enjoyed visiting another Dorset pub.

Happened upon this hostelry as part of a large cohort attending a retirement bash for a schoolmaster. Good range of ales ( I noticed the ever present Doombar) and a very nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking and a rather useful railway station close by just in case you come by train and take the Milk train home.. The eats laid... More

Called on spec, was very busy for a Thursday evening but was seated immediately, staff were very friendly, food was usual pub type food, but freshly cooked and would call again if in the area. As it is near a few caravan parks, might be a good idea to book a table.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and found it to be a nice hotel with friendly staff and a good selection of vegetarian options on the menu. The food was very good and we decided to eat in the restaurant both nights of our stay. The only downsides were the noise - the hotel is situated on a... More

We thought we would give this pub a visit as it had a large beer garden with childrens' play area. Garden was lovely and very peaceful although play equipment could do with bit of revamp. We ordered kids sausage, chips and beans although a decent portion was not worth £5. Adult meals we ordered a ham and goats cheese salad.... More

Stayed in the campsite next door so tried the Frampton Arms almost by default. Really surprised, the food blew us away! Really good quality. Probably the best pub grub I've had. The service was also excellent, very thoughtful as we had a Oran with us too. So good we came back the next night, can't say better than that.

This was a pretty local pub. Didn't open for the evening until 6.30pm. Several groups arrived together for food as soon as it opened. Waited 45 minutes for our meals which we didn't mind being on holiday there was no rush. A nibble was brought to us while waiting. Their was 4 in our group 2 of us had gammon... More

Visited with my four year old daughter for lunch and couldn't believe how bad. I had the Aberdeen Angus beef burger at £11.95 and my daughter the child's pizza and chips at £5.50. The burger was certainly not Aberdeen Angus beef and was cooked so badly it was hard on the outside and grey inside with absolutely no flavour. The... More
