Auberge Natzwiller Good hotel (Logies de France) in a quiet village. We had a spacious room. Big bed. Hygiene ok, bathroom too. Separate toilet, which is good, but no possibility to wash your hands (you have go to the bathroom therefore). Metzger has an excellent restaurant. The food comes near to star level. We eat veal with a sauce of... More

In a small mountain village you will find a local restaurant, with a local decor and local staff serving sophisticated country food. This is not you average run of the mill auberge you are one step up. But it is not Michelin stars either. It is high level country food in an appealing relaxed atmosphere, with attentive staff and delicious... More

We stayed at the Auberge Metzger because it was close to the concentration camp memorial of Natzweiler/Struthof. The accommodations were better than we had expected, even after reading the TripAdvisor reviews. Because we had our teenage grandson with us, we reserved the family room, which had a small, separate bedroom for him as part of our suite. The room was... More

We had a great dinner with 5 courses. The waiting personal was always friendly and helpful with explanation of the meals. We enjoyed the regional deliciouls meals thoroughly. The pricing is also really well. We payed 80€ for 5 course dinner including breackfast. Highly recommend this hotel.

We found this little Auberge by accident and what a find it turned out to be.Located in a small village deep in the Vosges it is brilliant for walks, sight seeing and if you are interested the only WW2 concentration camp in France. Family run the place is spotless and they accept dogs! Our room (no.7)was huge with an extra small... More

The restaurant is really attractive and the staff very welcoming. The waiting staff were really helpful, explaining the regional specialities and recommending wines for the different courses. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed all of the meals - a real find for delicious local food.

Only stayed one night en-route from the UK to Southern Germany but what a super hotel! The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully equipped and the evening dinner was fabulous. We had booked half-board which meant that we had a limited choice from the a-la-carte menu and if we stayed again, we would rather book B&B and have the... More

A very pleasant auberge in mountainous region with laying snow at the end of October. The fare offered was Germanic in every way and delicious in every way as well. The portions were massive to start with and more were brought to the table without asking for them. It was impossible to eat anymore. Very highly recommended.

We just came back from our second stay at the Auberge Metzger. Our first stay was 10 years ago and once again we were very pleased. Such a lovely place: friendly people, quiet and peaceful location. Comfortable rooms, very spacious, too. And the food … delicious! Highly recommended for a short break (a lot of hiking possibilities nearby).

We stayed here on our way from England to Italy. We chose it on the basis of its Michelin Bib Gourmand - after we have been driving all day, the evening meal takes on a special significance. (Previously we have stayed in another hotel in Alsace but decided that it had become rather expensive and the service seemed designed to... More
