This is essentially a mobile home that has been placed on an empty spot outside of the City. The inside was comfortable and clean. It's only 5 minutes into the City. Check in and out was totally contactless, we didn't encounter anyone for service. It would have been a good place to look for auroras, but we found there was too much light from the guesthouse.

0.5 km right off the main road. OK place to spend the night. Clean. Secluded. 5 min drive from gas station. Common room has cooking equipment. Nothing fancy, no sauna or hot tube. Good for the price.

We went to the Reindeer Park and left without going in. It now charges ~14$ for anyone over 12. That would have been $50 for our family. Price: cost ROI not there. The bathrooms were also all closed.

A nice guest house in the north of Iceland. The guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful nature and landscapes and Egilsstaðir, the largest town in the East Region is located only 10 minutes away by car. The room equipped with small kitchen and private shower room. It’s clean and comfortable. I think this is one of the best place to for aurora hunting in winter. Recommend for all type of guests.

The flow-out in the shower didn’t work properly so that water flowed onto the floor. The TV didn’t work at all as well. There was lot of dust on shelves, especially under the TV. Taken together, this falls short of a 3-stern accommodation. I wouldn’t recommend it

A nice guest house in the north of Iceland. The guest house is located between Egilsstaðir and Vok baths, so it is very recommended to stay there. There is parking adjacent to the guest house. It is less suitable for preparing full breakfasts.

We didnt stay at the guesthouse but went to the reindeer park. We were greeted by the owner who is super nice and with loads of knowledge. The two reindeers are rescues and very spoiled living in a good area. Definetly recommend 😄 We loved every minute.

Good location, some kilometers from the center of Egilsstadir. We couldn't cook, it was only a microwave oven and a kettle, but it was known for us. A good starting point to travel to Borgarfjördur Eystri and Seydisfjördur.

The cottage is situated just outside the town surrounded by nature and silence. We arrived late at night and we could appreciate the peace of the place. The cottage is a small apartment with a comfortable bed, TV, a desk, a fridge and some cups and cutlery. There is also the possibility to have some tea thanks to a boiler in the room. We were satisfied with the location and the room. There was a small table with a couple of chairs in the terrasse which we used to eat our breakfast bought at the nearest supermarket. It could be anyway a very good idea to offer some breakfast to guests :) All in all, a very good stay :)

It's not far from town. The location itself is quiet. Parking spaces are available, but will be scarce at full capacity. Beds are OK, but nothing more. The room has everything if you want to cook. Negativ: The drain in the bathroom smelled. Internet is very slow. The rooms are noisy.
