    Exceeded high expectations.
As someone who has traveled to 50+countries and have stayed at numerous amazing hotels, I had very high expectations going into this holiday. The Palms absolutely exceeded my expectations. From my first dealings with Solomon Dormeus on the phone, and the Manager Jeff Morgan, their exceptional customer service set a tone for the rest of the trip. The driver of the shuttle, was so kind and personable. The young man who greeted us with a delicious refreshing drink on our arrival to the palms and took us on an informative tour was kind, informative and ever so joyful. ( he is the young man heading to Uni in the UK in August). Each member of staff from the hardworking housekeeping team, gardening staff, restaurant, bar and beach greeted us such kindness without fail. The joyful mood at the resort was as a result of the efforts of each staff member. The lovely woman at the beach bar went way out of her way to ensure I got a drink that that ran out of. The women at the breakfast buffet knew we had one coffee with milk and one tea. The service was exceptional. The resort itself is beautiful. The rooms were spotless, the ceiling fans kept the room cooled down making the AC unnecessary. The bathrooms are huge, the bed was amazingly comfortable, the Nespresso coffee was a wonderful touch. The beach is perfection. The sand so soft, the water so turquoise and warm. Lots of sun chairs. The beach was uncrowded. We had dinner at the restaurant by the pool. The pumpkin risotto was beyond delicious. The pool is kept pristinely clean and it is wonderful. Evening swims under the stars in an empty pool was so joyful. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and the resort itself. Our time at the Palms and swimming in that glorious water will be a memory held dear, and recalled each February when the snow flies. Thank you to everyone at The Palms for all your efforts. They made such a difference!
Dear dhhe, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for giving us the opportunity to impress you with our staff and facilities. It was a pleasure to read about your experience and to know that we provided you with a memorable vacation with your family. We look forward to your next visit!

Great Stay, beautiful location and nicely maintained.
We spent 5 nights at the Palms in early February. We were in building 3, with our balcony overlooking the garden (breakfast space). Overall our stay was wonderful. We truly enjoyed the beach in front of the hotel, chair service was always wonderful and helpful, we never had to rush out to get seats on the beach which was appreciated. The complimentary water was a nice touch, and the pool is huge, the hot tub was pretty great too! We never ate/drank at the resort due to prices just being so high, and we were able to find tons of wonderful locations on the island with delicious food. We were very glad to have a car, we never had a problem parking anywhere and were able to explore many parts of the island. We utilized the tennis court which was in great condition (we had our own balls and rackets) but apparently there are some available at the front desk as well if you don't want to bring yours. Breakfast buffet was quite nice, a great way to start the morning. Every staff member we ever interacted with was so kind, friendly and helpful.
Dear travelingenigma, Thank you for your amazing review! At the Palms, we strive to provide exceptional service for each person who walks through our doors. Thank you for sharing your perfect rating with us. We look forward to sharing the same quality experience with you during your next stay with us.

    Exceptional
The Palms is perfect. The architecture and decor are exquisite. We came for my birthday, and without even asking for an upgrade, we were given a one-bedroom / 1.5 bathroom suite with a view of the pool and ocean. On our last night, I had a cold, and the hotel went out and got me cough drops because the gift shop was out. I am so impressed with this hotel. I have stayed at many fine hotels, and this one is top notch. No detail is overlooked. The closets are large and well lit. The kitchen has everything you could ever need, including a blender. There are books in the kitchen cupboard in case you forgot something to read. The living room and bedroom are huge and extremely comfortable. Wifi is strong. Washer and dryer in the half bath is great. Turndown service is really nice. Each night, chocolates and water bottles were placed on our nightstands, and slippers were placed by the bed. Having complimentary access to the spa on the day we left was fantastic. It made it possible for us to spend the whole day at the beach. Getting a front row seat at the beach can be challenging if you don't arrive before 9:30am (people start saving seats at 6:30am). Luckily, Floyd Forbes, a pool/beach attendant, was there to help us set up our chairs, adding cushions to make them more comfortable. Taxis to the supermarket and nearby restaurants are $5 per person each way. One night we went to Mango Reef and were shocked that it cost $36 to go 2.4 miles and back. Expect to spend $100+ for every meal, on or off the resort.
Dear pvmchadwick, We're excited to read you had an incredible time at The Palms and thank you for celebrating your birthday with us! We are so happy you have chosen our beautiful island for your vacation. The Turks & Caicos Islands are an exceptional destination for travelers. Thanks for your special shout out to some of our staff. We can't wait to welcome you back again next year!

The Palms offers a wonderful vacation experience. The hotel, the amenities and especially the staff are why it is always are first choice when it is available to our group. Dywan was an excellent guide on the Hobie Cat, he made sure our safety was number one and gave us a lot of fun and interesting facts as he guided us down the island and back. Dwayne in the bar, the crew on the beach and all of the restaurant staff were fabulous. Incredible fresh food with a wide assortment. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept.

The Palms is a beautiful resort with very large, luxurious suites. The beach is stunning with soft, white sand & plenty of beach & pool lounges. The food was outstanding; Starting with breakfast & delicious omelettes made by a smiling Mona every day and beautiful “Sweet Baby” Jane to greet & seat us every morning. The Plunge pool/beach bar & restaurant served great food & drinks with excellent service from Paula, Sandy, & many others. Dinner service at Parallel 27 was outstanding from Linda with food manager Mark seeming to be everywhere, all the time. He was constantly checking to ensure that the food at breakfast, lunch & dinner were excellent and we always had whatever we needed. I had a salt scrub and massage at the spa from Janice which was so relaxing. Don’t forget to take advantage of the saunas. The gym was small, but with very nice equipment. Everything throughout the resort is spotlessly clean. It was a great week at The Palms and the employees made it so special!

This was our third visit to The Palms Turks and Caicos. It is truly a dream to stay at this beautiful place. We had a one bedroom condo. The decor and service at The Palms are the best I’ve seen anywhere. Madeline took excellent care of our condo. She always had our rooms looking perfect and turn down service was fantastic. Everything replenished and ready for the next day. Jane was our breakfast hostess always ready with a smile and after one day knew us and our preferences. Paula did the pool service and was so friendly and also took extra care to remember our favorite drinks. The staff here is like family. They are extra special people. We will return here.

We stayed at the sister hotel "The Shore Club" (which is AMAZING). On both websites it is stated that we could book services at the spas. We booked at The Palms Spa. It's also stated that guests can go over to enjoy dining and entertainment with free shuttles between the two hotels. Our group book spa services and planned to go early to check the property out. When we arrived we walked to the pool and beach to hang out before our many services at the spa. At that time we were told that we were NOT allowed to use the beach or the pool. We could not have two towels or two chairs, they were for hotel guests only. The beach and pool were not busy. I stated that we were guests of the spa and were going to spend the day there. Management came to tell me that they didn't care, we could not use the beach or the pool, we could however spend more money and eat at one of the restaurants while we waited. I said I'd love drinks on the beach. No that's not possible. I asked, "So we can spend over $1000 at your spa, but we can't have two towels for the beach for 45 minutes?" Yes that was the answer. You can sit next to the pool and eat or drink but you cannot get in the pool. You can spend money here but you are not a guest here. I said no, I'm a guest of your sister hotel and you advertise that we can come over with a free shuttle. The reply-yes to eat or spend money but not to use our pool or our beach. I asked them how that makes any sense? Wouldn't you want to be hospitable and have guests enjoy the area while they wait to spend money at your spa? Maybe they'll stay with you next time? Management stated "Maybe that's how they do it in the United States but that's not how we do it here". We went in and canceled all of our spa treatments which were supposed to start and left. The hotel was not that nice for their pretentious treatment. Lastly, Palms guests came to our hotel and were able to use everything. Our staff was extremely friendly and kind. Want to stay somewhere where you are treated top notch stay at The Shore Club.
