We had a great 3 days - 2 nights. The hotel is an old building, extremely beautiful, more like an antique museum. The street itself is beautiful, colorful and vibrant. The rooms are big, luxurious and well kept with all facilities required for comfortable stay including nice coffee maker. Air conditioning is provided as its gets hot in Month of... More

Great service, excellent breakfast and restaurant. Rooms were beautifully renewed and decorated. Great location, really close to the main touristic areas in Puebla. You can walk to the antique stores on the same block or be at the zocalo in a 5 minutes walk. Would book a room again with out hesitation.

Beautiful old world setting, excellent service, conveniently located, lovely breakfast. A very good value as well. The room was beautifully outfitted with antiques and the accommodations were very comfortable.

There are a lot of things to love about this hotel. First is its location within Puebla. El Mesón is located a couple of long blocked from the city's central plaza and right next to a couple of alleys filled with endless options of Mexican arts and crafts, galleries and antique stores. If you take Calle 3 towards the Zócalo... More

This small hotel is on a fairly quiet very block near the zocalo and other Puebla sites. Our room was incredibly large and comfortable with everything one could ask for. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

The hotel is small (only 8 guest rooms) and we've stayed many times. We liked it so much we booked the entire place for two nights and had our wedding ceremony and reception here. The staff were quite nice and helpful during the entire planning process (especially since we were planning the wedding from afar) with suggestions for florists, DJs,... More

The hotel is wonderful. Tongue-in-cheek Mexican, with antiques and a sense of humor. Location could not be better. It's within a couple of blocks of the zocalo and other main tourist attractions and literally steps from Los Sapos, with its antiques shops and weekend flea markets. Terrific breakfasts, delicious mojitos and music all day Saturday and Sunday and Saturday evening.... More

The location is terrific - just a couple blocks from the Zocalo, excellent shopping (both street vendors and talaveras), near the biblioteca/library, Amparo museum, etc. Yet quiet at night - we had a streetside room and it was great. All rooms appear to have a/c, which we really appreciated. All rooms are eclecticly painted and decorated heavy on early catholicism... More

This colourful eclectic hotel is a quiet spot close to the zocalo and cathedral. Colourful with a touch of antique. Easy walking to all sights. The restaurant offers interesting and varied regional dishes. The tasting menu is a bargain at 325$ pesos including a glass of wine and it's a great way to taste locals foods. I would stay here... This was a great place to stay in Puebla! I'm giving it 5 stars based on it being in a historic building. The hotel has a great look from the outside and the courtyard was a nice place to relax. We stayed in a "master suite" (Room 1). The room was very large and had air conditioning (a must have... More
