Casa de la Palma has a great location as it is very close to the zócalo. The rooms were beautifully appointed in the style from the French baroque period in Puebla. I had a room with a balcony. The room had high ceilings, beautiful tile floors, painted ceilings, crystal chandelier, a small foyer and two stained glass windows in the...

The Hotel Casa de la Palma is in a great location! Right near the Zocolo and across from the excellent restaurant La Casa de Mendrugo. It's an old historic courtyard building. The rooms are very large and charming. Our Botero room had a balcony, beautiful tile floors and some great stained glass windows in the bathroom. We were with a...

Stayed five nights and loved this gem. Old mansion with a lovely courtyard and cool rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful but Yvette was exceptional. Couldn't do enough for us, arranged taxis, recommended sites and day trips including a carnivale in a nearby town which was a highlight of our stay. Location is perfect, close to zocalo etc. and breakfast...

A first time vacation venture couldn't have been more pleasant. The hotel was extremely charming, close to the zocalo. The staff was very accommodating and one member, Yvette was a gold mine. She took the time to tell us about the different sites in the area and made sure we were well taken care of , whether it was for...

We stayed for a few days here and it was indeed an impressive experience. This hotel is located in a historic building erected sometime in the eighteenth century. Huge rooms, all decorated with gusto. The historic nature of the place is fully preserved. The whole place is tidy. Its location is also perfect, literally 1-2 minutes away from the main...

The Trip Advisor reviewers were absolutely bang-on and we got exactly what we expected. No, it is not a Hilton. The amenities are not 5-star and the bed was a little hard and the linens could be better. But I have never stayed at a Hilton that offered me a massive suite with 16-foot high ceilings, was decorated with original...

Driving around looking for a unique hotel not like a common one that you can find in every city 🌃. We were lucky to find it since we saw it in TripAdvisor first and was one of the hotels that we happened to drive by. Love that they still have the regular 🔑 keys to open the rooms the antique...

Beautiful hotel, a short walk from the Zocalo. Spacious rooms decorated with beautiful antiques. No bar, restaurant but as so close to many it doesn't matter. Has a lovely 'original' feel to it. Helpful staff. Massages available in your room - expensive but good

I came to Puebla as a multi-night side trip from Mexico City. Upon my arrival at the Hotel Casa de la Palma I was greeted warmly by the front desk clerk (I can't remember her name). In general, service at this hotel was very friendly and efficient. I was apparently placed in the wrong room, but that didn't matter much...

I have stayed here many times and always like the ambiance and knowing that I am staying in the original residence of the Bishop dating back to the early 1700s. It is close to the zocalo and you can see the gorgeous cathedral from some of the rooms. Breakfast is nice, the staff is always helpful and pleasant.
