My wife and I had been in Morelia twenty years ago but did not get a chance to sample its treasures. This time we spent four days exploring this marvelous city with its lively squares, colonial architectural gems and fascinating museums. Staying at Casa Xola made our visit all the more rewarding. The owner and host Arleigh gave us great... More

Comfortable patio, nice room with huge and very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and a very friendly host, Casa Xola is a great place to stay. Free parking in nearby parking place and when we needed to leave early Arleigh was kind enough to let us out even outside their working hours.

Casa Xola is a great place. Arleigh is an attentive and friendly host. The rooms were pretty and clean. There is a nice rooftop patio for relaxing and drinking wine. The location is choice -- very close to centro and things to do. Breakfasts were hearty and simple. Usually cereal with hemp a/o chia seeds a/o granola and yogurt, croissants,... More

Interesting architecture, artistic decoration, excellent location and warm hospitality. The rooftop terrace is definitely the highlight for relaxation after returning from the bustling city Centre. The bathroom is bright and airy with a dome-shaped ceiling. There are 3 available wifi networks to connect, so rooftop connection is no longer an issue. Highly recommend, exactly as described by all the reviews.

Arleigh made us both feel welcome. The room and her entire home were fantastic and comfortable. The neighborhood was as expected, we felt safe and it is steps from the historical heart of the city. This trip exceeded our expectations and we can unreservedly recommend Casa Xola and the city of Morelia for a visit.

This charming b&b was the perfect choice for us --great breakfasts, quiet, beautifully restored historical grand home, with a romantic rooftop deck where we watched sunsets with a glass of wine. Arlie, the owner, was an incredibly helpful and gracious host and helped make our visit to Morelia personal and informed. She also helped introduce us to a driver, Jesus,... More

I haven't said it all! This charming B&B had everything we were looking for. Our room was super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The whole house is artistically decorated; every corner and every wall has been thought of and attended to. There is also a charming roof top where you can sit down to read or relax with... More

I am staying here now. They have a wonderful garden on the roof which is really pleasant, although it's better for sitting and coffee and lounging than for checking anything on the internet as the internet is very unstable. I had hoped to be able to do research on the roof or check email - not really possible. However, you... More
