Intimate hotel in a great location with attentive staff. Nana Vida is one of those hotel where every detail is thought out. Comfortable beds, cotton linens, great lighting with perfectly placed reading lights, and a little continental breakfast of coffee or tea and a sweet roll which was unexpected. I am a wheelchair user and other than a short “curb”, maybe four inches, to get into the hotel there were no obstacles for me.
Great artwork by local artists. Don’t hesitate to spend time at Nana Vida.

My wife and I just stayed at Nanavida Morelia hotel to vacation in this beautiful city. The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff who provided us with good suggestions of places to eat and visit. The hotel itself is in the historic center of the city in a beautiful building with indoor courtyard. The rooms are enormous, clean, high ceilings, decorated with unique art from Mexican artists, and with all the amenities needed to have a comfortable stay. We stayed in room #1 which had to large comfy beds. Like most buildings in the historic center, the walls of this old building/hotel are so thick that you can’t hear the street or any major noises.

The hotel is located 3-10 minute walk from the main square and from tons of great dinning options. Local markets that deep food, art etc are also within same distance. Walking to and from the hotel is very safe. Really, it’s location is ideal as it is very close to main site seeing areas, but in a street that is not busy.

I will stay here again in future visits to this gorgeous city.

I had not visited Morelia in over 20 years, and my stay at NanaVida along with what the city has to offer, made me fall in love even a bit more with Mexico.
I stayed at NanaVida Oaxaca a few years back and knowing the brand and how they ensure your stay is wonderful, I had to check out this gem. The hotel is located within minutes of Plaza de Armas, so you will be within walking distance of the Cathedral and cute coffee shop and restaurants.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, filled with art from Mexican artists and local handcrafts. I love that the owners incorporated crafts from the region, for sure it enriches the experience.
The customer service is superb ~ the staff is very accommodating and made sure that you feel safe traveling during this complicated times.
For a minute I even forgot we are in the middle of a pandemic!
The rooms are designed for comfort and rest, also you will find a QR code that tells you more about the art in the room you are staying at.
Of course at check-in they welcome you with an exquisite handcrafted soap bar, as they also do at the Oaxaca location so I was pleasantly surprised...trust me you want to try it.
Throughout the stay every time you come back from doing touristic things, they offer you a Mezcal or a non alcoholic drink, but if you like Mezcal go ahead and say yes, you won’t regret it.
And even their check-out is special.
NanaVida I cannot wait for the next location, thank you for creating beautifully designed and proudly Mexican hotels that deliver an amazing travel experience!

This was a mother and daughter trip, we were so exited since this was our first trip .
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt so welcomed, offered us water, coffee, tea, mescal as soon as we got in.
Also they offer a soap bar to choose from, all natural, craft made, all smell delicious.
Our room was #7, it has a staircase and is on the back of the hotel, very quiet. You can open the windows and you have a nice view of an inner court yard .
Room was impeccable, spacious, had 2 double beds, very comfortable, really slept well .
Everyone at front desk was so caring, always willing to help us or to make our stay memorable. Viry and Luz deserve both praise and our gratitude.
Hope to go back sometime soon. Morelia is a beautiful city, lots of historic sites, nice restaurants and friendly people.

Hotel Nana Vida is really a gem at an affordable price in Morelia. The location is fantastic, about a two minute walk from the Cathedral Plaza.

What I really like about the hotel is that it was very quiet, serene, and the nice attention from the staff, which makes you feel really welcome and at ease. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated, they are located around a central patio where you can plan your trip, or have a drink. There is no breakfast, which forces you to explore Morelia's amazing restaurants right from the start of the day!

For the working travelers, the internet works well enough to be able to do video meetings, and the hotel has a business centre that you can use for that purpose.

What an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived until we left you couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience. They suggested dining options, tour and museum options and were available for any questions we had. We were offered cut soap upon arrival along with really nice bottle of wine and flowers during the stay and nice parting gives on checkout.
We were always greeted with genuine kindness and offered a water, soda, or gatorade upon returning each day. The breakfasts each day were some fruits and nice pastries, along with coffee. They had an extended breakfast service on the weekend. The young ladies managing it are excellent hostesses. They were always making sure that we were comfortable and if there was anything we needed. We appreciated the English with our very limited ability to speak Spanish. The rooms were off the courtyard and very spacious, clean, and quiet for being in the el centro district and within easy walking distance for all the attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Thank you so much Michelle, Liz, Viri, Lupita and Angie! You made our stay at your hotel feel special and made some great memories.
Honestly can't say enough positives about the establishment and most importantly wish the staff continued success and happiness.

I spent one night only but it was a great experience. Since I arrived at the hotel I was welcomed by the manager and invited to seat, have a soft drink and relax while my check-in process was being handled.

The room has a very appealing and comfortable decoration but I also appreciated the fact that the TV screen is pretty big and modern. I could even input my Netflix, Youtube or Amazon login data to watch shows I actually enjoy.

I would recommend other guests to take a look at the small yard on the back of the hotel which has several interesting plants including fruit trees that I was told were planted by the owners of the hotel themselves.

I also enjoyed the fact that I was offered a pretty good "café de olla" in the morning while I was getting ready to go out and explore the city.

Finally, you should notice that not very far from the hotel there's an excellent "carnitas" restaurant called Don Pepe. Ask the front desk for directions. It'll be totally worth it.

If you want to have a 100% awesome experience during your trip to Morelia, this is the place to stay at.

The hotel workers are beyond awesome. The service they provide is superb! I cannot speak highly enough of them as they have gone above and beyond for me. The hotel itself is beautiful and extremely safe. They have security at night and the cleaning is impeccable. I will definitely stay here again when I come back with family. The location is also very convenient as its very well located close to the Cathedral maybe a 5 minute walk ar the most with many restaurants nearby.

We were visiting Morelia for a few days and did the research and came up with this gem. Excellent hotel. Just a block off the main zocalo and quiet, clean & comfortable stay. The room was very large and just off the main lobby. We were concerned it would be noisy, but far from it. Very comfortable and quiet. The staff was excellent from start to finish. No questions were left unanswered. Michelle, Luz and Viridiana were a joyful and patient with our terrible español. Fresh cut bar of soap at check in was a great touch and some parting gifts were completely unexpected. Overall ne of the nicest places we have stayed.

Warm, friendly service, a central location within a short walk to the city centre, a comfortable, spacious room with an eye to tradition and detail, describes it best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NaNa Vida, and would return in a heartbeat.

NaNa Vida exudes value for money, built on exceptional service.
