I amexperiencing the same problem that other visitors had. They gave me a depressing room that looked more like 1 star hotel. I arrived at arounf 5 pm and made me wait for about 20 minutes before giving me this depressing old dirty room. After I complained, they worked it out to give me a more decent room after about...

We were there for the Pope's visit in the city, and we booked a few days before. They put us first in one room in the las floor and in the worst place, a room with no windows, a bed that barely fits in the room, and a tv that was so old that should be on a museum. They...

The first impression of this hotel was terrible. We arrived with a reservation made for 4 days and the only room they gave us was hidden in one of the old parts of the hotel and stank of humidity. After complaining to the front desk for a while, we manage to get a second room which was slightly better but...

My only regret about this hotel, is not having stayed longer. It's awesome. Excellent location. Quaint building. Friendly staff. Perhaps, my only complaint is that the breakfast buffet is "too mexican", and I don't want it to be taken as an offense. Is just that not everybody likes so heavy dishes as breakfast. However, I must say that my wife...

I begin by listing the good things: the breakfast ain't bad. Yep; that's it. I slayed three days (inertia) in the newer, uglier part:; how the exterior could have passed muster with UNESCO is a mystery. It is undergoing major and much needed repairs. The first day, the main lobby was strewn with cables and the noise if rock-cutting saws....

Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although the hotel is under a considerable renovation it is clean. The food was below average and the variety of the menu is quite limited. Service was quite slow but the atmosphere of the patio makes it easier. My suggestion is to look for other choices for dinner around the hotel.

We chose this hotel because it was in the Historic District and because of the good Travel Advisor reviews. It didn't disappoint us. The rooms were spacey and AC worked great.. Bathroom was good also... The shower was plenty big enough for me, & I'm 5ft 10in and weight 225lbs. The breakfast was superior to any we've ever found. Also,...

Many have commented about the great location of the hotel. This is without question a fantastic location to explore the historic center of Morelia. I had great views of the cathedral from my room. Additionally the breakfast is fantastic. Service at the hotel was also fine. Check-in was fast and the staff was helpful finding my room. The hotel does...

From day one the experience was a positive one at Alameda Centro Historico Hotel! We were greeted with a smile by a very nice bell boy and received a warm welcome from front desk employees. We arrived earlier than expected (before noon I believe) and they accommodated us without hesitation and or an extra cost. We stayed Monday - Thursday...

Just loved staying here! Everything seemed perfect: our room was spacious with a view to the cathedral! My husband enjoyed the free breakfast selection which was very generous with abundance of choices from fruit, juices to diverse traditional Michoacan food. Taste the cafe de OLula, it is delicious and it is served in an Olla! The Poetales are right across...
